Great Place, Great People, Great Food, Good Value for Money.
Having to leave
excellent food; would have liked choice of fruit for breakfast.
It's was a lovely place very friendly the food was great
This is an old building don't expect large rooms and wide staircases but that is what it is all about the character of the building. Beds were comfortable. The food was excellent and could not be faulted , great breakfast, Annette is great and the beer good. Parking across the road was fine. This is a pub you should expect some noise until closing time (but even then it was not much).
Electric showers never seem to work well with me and this one was no exception.
Great food, very friendly staff and good places to visit locally, would recommend this as a great place to stay.
Evening meal and breakfast. Friendly staff
Noisy water pipes in bedroom.
very friendly, helpful staff. lovely room with very comfortable bed. Brilliant breakfast
No fuss Easy acceptance of our plans Very comfortable rooms Excellent breakfast Helpful with information which was reliable
From the moment I was welcomed, to the moment I left, I was given great personal attention. Nothing was too much trouble and even though I needed meals outside the set times, I was accommodated on all occasions. The staff were really pleasant, hardworking, the food was excellent and my accommodation was immaculate and comfortable. I could not recommend them highly enough.
There was nothing I disliked.
Good value; adequately appointed; quiet location; good food and beer.
Nit picking: warm evening so ate outside, unfortunately several smokers chose to not use the smoking area, prefering to share their foul habit with the rest of the clientele.
Lovely room. Good facilities im the room. Helpful and friendly staff.
Due to the weather conditions the temperature in the room was very uncomfortable but at the same time I wouldn't expect air conditioning in such a B&B
Friendly staff, clean accommodation and lovely food.
Excellent friendly service. Extremely hospitable staff. Great atmosphere and good food. Comfy beds and a fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning.
Bathroom door didn't shut properly in room 2. Not an issue for us, but could be for friends sharing. Flusher on toilet awkward to flush! Apart from a minor, minor issue, we loved it there. Thank you for your kind hospitality.
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Well decorated, clean and comfortable accommodation (room 4). Lovely food with very friendly service, a good selection of beer in pleasant surroundings. Lovely breakfast which kept us going all day. Look forward to returning.
Nice clean place, nice people, great food, you can see how much work they have put in to making the place as good as it is.

The breakfast. So pleased to have good coffee. None of that irritating, intrusive and uninvited background music that we have to put up with in so many hotels. Having a go at the Aunt Sally pub game. Great to have a kettle in the room.
Very welcoming, great food.
Beautiful location. Great food. Best lamb we have tasted in a long time. Staff very efficient
Welcomed by very friendly staff, family run business. We had an early start for a triathlon event at Blenheim palace and staff took our order the night before to make sure we left plenty of time. Beautiful breakfast, as was the evening meal we had the night before
Nothing really, location means driving necessary, but central for surrounding area
Very kind lovely room and breakfast
