We were made very welcome and the facilities were very good, we had excellent breakfasts and the catering cupboard was very useful especially after a long drive. It was lovely to sit outside our own room when the evenings were nice.

Horsemanstone is a lovely B and B, our room had a gorgeous view with a shared slate veranda and good parking facilities. The room was very clean and modern. The staff were lovely and made you feel very welcome, and the breakfast was good. Highly recommend.

Beautifully furnished with everything you need to hand - lashings of hot water in a user-friendly shower, comfortable bed. Delicious breakfasts served unobtrusively. Friendly owners who knew the area well so could point us in the right direction for evening food, etc.

We have travelled extensively home and abroad, so it was a joy after a long drive to reach a 'little haven' set in stunning countryside. Run by genuine people - nothing too much trouble and 5 star breakfasts. This is no ordinary B&B highly recommended.

We had a 2 night stay at the Horsemanstone. I was very impressed with the room we were provided. The linen, décor, fixtures and fittings were all of a very high standard and luxurious. The breakfast was first class with a good menu selection. The owners and staff were very obliging and friendly. The view through our patio doors was stunning, and the alpacas added to this. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Horsemanstone and will be returning as soon as we can.

From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and at home. Our room, room 4, was an attic room with lovely views across the farm. The room was spacious, clean and modern with great facilities including a large TV, Dvd player, ipod dock, kettle, microwave and fridge. Everyday our room was replenished with clean towels, tea and coffee, fresh milk and bottles of water (very handy for taking out on day trips.) The highlight of our stay had to be the breakfasts. We were given a menu to make selections from the day before so upon arrival in the breakfast room the wait for food was minimal. The breakfast selection was lovely, we had full english one day, croissants the next and smoked salmon and egg on toast on our last day. In addition to this cereal, fruit and orange juice were available to help yourself to and top ups of tea and toast were always offered. The lady serving breakfast was also lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly love to come back again and have already recommended it to friends.

Finding the entrance off the main road a bit hairy with traffic and speed in the area until you are aware of its position and then able to prepare more safely and judge approach.
