Well stocked kitchen and nice toiletries
Lobby could do with some refurbishment.
Room was compact with everything to hand, bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and courteous.
TV didn't seem to work, parking was on the main road, decor was a bit tatty.
staff was really helpful and a great breakfast .
had a lot of problems with shower.
10 - 15 minutes from the ferry terminal. Very handy and a great room price
Could omly stay one night.
friendlyness of staff on arrival, delt with proffessionally and quickly
non residents smoking outside and drinking before ten in the morning
If you can appreciate that the owners are into their art then you will understand the quirkiness of the rooms.very nice helpful people.good bar facilities, good breakfast,
Bedding clean,room okay,breakfast good.
Mold/discolouring around shower cubilcle.Noise drifting up from drinkers outside the bar,not excessive though.
People were genuine and helpful. Breakfast was truly "complete English:" eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, baked beans, mushrooms, pickle.... Located right on promenade road at edge of sea. Our accommodations spacious, very clean
No elevator and we did not know it before hand.
Our room was hot. No air con. Our one window fell out of its frame but we managed to put it back in. A power point was hanging off the wall in our room. Very old and tired premises.
Cramped room. Cheap, depressing decor. Dreary bar. No off-street parking.
could be sued under the trades description act because we book thinking that we could leave our car whilst on a cruise as stated when looking online for hotels with car parking facilities to find when we got there, there is no car park and we had to leave car parked on the road side.
I thought the hotel was very good. And convent for us for the port. The staff were nice.the food was good and a good choice.
The only thing I didn't like was after what the room cost we ha d to pay for breakfast separate. The choice was very good.
Very friendly, good food, and well equipped rooms.
I thought the location was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a good room. I would come back with the family. Loved it!
They up graded us to an appartment, at no additional cosr, due to a group booking.
the food was fantastic. Everything fresh and cooked to order.
my room was small and a bit cramped. But that's Europe.
Felt privileged to enjoy room 7 belonging to an owner/artist. Chair, bed, lamps and pictures on the wall all inspired and humorous. I hear that every room is unique. Food great and a lovely bar area.
Old building with narrow stairs to our 2nd floor room. Curtains to thin to hide the rising sun so we woke at dawn, but enjoyed a sunrise over the sea. Worth the experience. Still talking about how unique it was with friends.
Very unique hotel with a magic touch, the owners have bespoke furniture and art in every corner of every room Very reasonable price Great location Cant wait to visit again
its completely run down with some drunks in the bar from morning till evening
We were upgraded to the suite and it was a fantastic art deco palace!
Hotel was unique and eclectic. Staff was friendly and very helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Dining room was clean, service was good and food was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We liked everything, though the stairs were a little difficult to climb, but that was more about us than the hotel.
Staff friendly Easy to find Room comfortable
The quirkiness of the hotel in general. It is a most 'interesting' Establishment. Breakfast was very good. We had one overnight stay and would stay there again.
The carpet in room 12 was grubby and the hot water machine leaked badly.
Very kind and poetic owners, who try hard to offer their guest the very best hopitality. Rooms interior decoration is extraordenary and good reasons for long discussions.
