It served its purpose it was friendly and clean I had a good nights sleep the bed was great and smelt fresh and clean I enjoyed it

Lovely room, wonderful sea view. Staff very helpful.

Only fault was the shower pressure rather poor but the spa bath made up for it.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the owners. It was very welcoming and a real relaxed environment. the location was excellent, right on the sea front so it was ideal for the chilled out and relaxed break we were after away from the city madness.

Service was excellent and the staff really went that extra mile.

Slightly eccentric but in the best possible way. Staff could not have been more helpful and the full English breakfast was excellent.

It is a very quirky and eccentric hotel with wonderful staff and a fantastic breakfast. I stayed with my dog and they were so accommodating.

The room was a little small but they have a lot of workers staying this time of year and I was told that off peak they try to upgrade people.

Nice and comfortable room with a lovely sea view. Friendly staff.

Some areas of the hotel may be a little rough around the edges, but that was just my personal experience.

It was a very nice hotel and the hotel personnel was very helpful. The food service was good and all was very good.

The location is great with an ocean view. The room was nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The staff extremely friendly. In addition the restaurant offers excellent and copious meals. We had a wonderful time in this small but excellent hotel.

The lack of elevator but the owner carried our suit cases to the 3rd floor. Would love to stay there again if possible.

The room was quite cute with a beautiful view on a sea with nice size bathroom.

Many cobwebs in the room. Hotel is very old with the reception pushed in under the stairs. First impression when you enter the hotel is bad but fortunately room was overall a nice surprise.

Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Clean and tidy room. Nice and warm and cosy room. Beautyful seaview. Bubble bath. Bidé. Television, and cold water bottles. Romantic bed with hanging drapery.

Third floor, no lift. Too small wardrobes. Squeaky,noisy bed while doing you know what. The safe in wardrobe could not use, though we did not bother to ask. Difficulties to know which side of the tap of water was warm or cold. In the basin the warm was to the left in the shower to the right. Hard to get the mixture right. The temperature in the bathroom was much colder than in the bedroom, wich was a bit awkward in the morning.

It is idealy situated for my interest of maritime photography. Apart from Felixstowe, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are not too far and both are bases for the offshore industry.

Wij hadden twee één-persoons kamers. Een beetje bij elkaar geraapt zooitje maar wel O.K.

bediening in het restaurant bleek dat er zieken waren ging wat moeizaam moet nog wel wat reparatiewerk hier en daar ondergaan De entree zou wat opgepimt mogen worden

Sehr gute Lage direkt am Meer und das freundliche Personal.

Haus ohne Fahrstuhl und sehr enge Treppen. Zimmer unter der Dachschräge und dadurch ziemlich klein. Das Frühstück wird zu dem auch so schon zu hohem Zimmerpreis auch noch extra und zu teuer berechnet. Hotel nur für Übernachtungen für 1-2 Nächte empfehlenswert.

Ligging is prachtig

Bij aankomst was het schrikken . Goor en onverzorgd , ook de entree. Ontvangst vriendelijk. Besloten toch de kamer te bekijken, hadden ook niet echt een keuze. De kamer was recent gerenoveerd , bed schoon, comf. badkamer, ontbijtkamer schoon en goed ontbijt en vriendelijke bediening. 's'nachts zeer lawaaierig..

Leuk, gezellig en typisch Engels hotel. Een beetje rommelig, maar daardoor charmant.

Отель находится прямо на набережной,панорамный вид на море.Идеальная чистота.Близко расположен большой супермаркет со всем необходимым,на соседней улице много маленьких магазинов с местными товарами.Остановка автобусов в шаговой доступности,до железнодорожной станции всего 5 минут пешком,до порта по набережной-20 минут прогулочным шагом. Рекомендую всем этот отель для хорошего,спокойного отдыха!!!

Uiterst vriendelijke klantgerichte benadering; goed contact met de andere gasten; huiselijke, comfortabele kamer met prima uitzicht over de zee.

after changing rooms to a seaview double room we were very satisfied it had lots of quirky items and a view to die for.

we did'nt like the twin room at the back of the hotel, it was a complete contrast to the one we upgraded to

Das Frühstück war schlecht, die Lage ist viel zu weit weg vom Hafen, das Einchecken war umständlich. Das Hotel hat die Buchung erst nicht bekommen oder verschlampt oder... einem Gast zu sagen, dass er keine Buchung hat und zwei Minuten später eine Buchung zu finden ist unmöglich. Ich werde in diesem Hotel nicht noch einmal übernachten, jede JH ist besser.

The location on the coast. Good bathroom - but perhaps we paid for the spa that we didn't want or use. Staff were friendly.

Expensive for what it was - shared balcony with smokers - and smoke entering or room. Balcony had building rubble. Poorly executed renovations eg door jams, loose wiring near door. Someone else's poo marks in toilet.
