Staff were helpful and polite. Food was good.
Place was tired and needs refurbishing.
A little noisy overlooking the road
Convenient bus stop nearby to get into Birmingham. Comfortable seating area in lobby/bar. Surprisingly quiet considering hotel is on main road.
Bed not very comfortable and thinnish duvet.
To much to say
They were very helpful .I requested a particular type of room when I did my booking and I was surprised the gentleman at the reception &remembered that allocated accordingly. Very pleased with the service.
Location was great, close to motorway and relatives we were visiting.
Breakfast was a little chaotic. No fried eggs, bacon, sausage when I went up so had to go back for a piece of bacon. Had to ask for toast which arrived with no butter so asked 3 times for butter. Having said that the breakfast was very nice.
Excellent parking, very close to motorway and food was excellent. Hotel was very quiet which was a surprise considering all of the above.
Room decor maybe a little dated if I needed to find fault but nothing was a problem
To be honest the parking was useful and thats all!
As soon as I got in the room i discovered damp on ceiling/wall. Bed sheet was ripped. The bathroom fan made too much noise until I realised if you take the bedroom card out then the noise disappears not that the staff told us to be aware of any of this. Shower rack was broken. Also I found it very hard to sleep due to continous noise from the corridor opening and closing. However what really annoyed me was that check out was at 11, but twice the cleaners knocked the door which woke me up and i had to tell them to come back later when I check out. On top of that at 11:05 reception rang to say its check out time, and I found that so rude because i was leaving the room and they werent even considerate about the time. Also staff arent friendly, normally at checkout staff ask how was your stay ect. The little things make a stay happy but unfortunately I wont be staying their again. Was not worth the price paid for.
Location is very convenient just next to the motorway. It's a comfortable friendly place to stay
Rooms could do with a make over
Tea coffee ketal needs to be cleaner. No teaspoons. Carpets not clean. Dark decoration in the room.
Bed very uncomfortable. Carpets very dark. Toilet to close to the door.
Location, friendly and very helpful staff.
staff was very helpfull and breakfest was good aswell
room was not to clean as dirty carpet, window and even pillows was dirty
Location. First look in and outside. Staff were friendly and keen to help.
My bedroom curtains were dirty and my shower had like a rusty colour around it and my lamp didn't work and shower head was off putting limescale all over it... Stale brown lettuce.
Reception staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel itself appeared very clean.
On the evening we stayed we sat down in the restaurant for our evening meal, we ordered 2 drinks and our meal, the drinks were served and we never saw a soul for 45 -55 mins, not even to ask if we wanted out drinks replenished, we finally got up to leave and were told the meal was on its way, therefore we strongly would not recommend the restaurant. Our room was very clean but the lighting very poor and the shower very poor also (needed descaling).
Excellent curry in the restaurant. Well located Value for money
Tired rooms, that could be cleaner.
Big bed Freeview
Bathroom Thin walls
staff friendly and helpful. breakfast was tasty and plentifull.
although comfortable could do with a bit of redecoration.
Staff and the room
Bathroom could be a bit better
Handy for us to walk to a party. Good choice at breakfast. Reception staff very helpful
Lots of dust in the bedroom. Carpets need a good clean. Dining room chairs were filthy
The carpets needed a Hoover
Reasonable accommodation price Free WiFi Easy location, close to M5 Friendly & polite reception staff
WiFi slow at times Breakfast expensive Some traffic noise from main road
The location of this hotel is really good easy access as we have our annual conference nearby. The Beds are comfortable staff are friendly breakfast really good and the price paid is good value for money. Bev, Sheffield UK
The only negative is that the cleaning of the room I stayed in was definitely lacking.. The main area were clean beds bathroom and shower but the net curtains were filthy and it was very evident that the cleaning staff had not cleaned behind the bedside table in months as they were thick with dust and cobwebs. The other area that requires attention is the decor as in mine and my girlfriend's room there were water stains on the ceilings were there had been evidence of a leak. The hotel just needs to sort out its maintenance and cleaning issues and they would be great.
Thought over priced for one night stay
