what was there to like we checked out after 3 hours to stay elsewhere. nasty place

Bathroom was a mess. The shower head was snapped off so you could only have a shower holding the shower head. The room wasn't clean

good price, ideal location to main business areas. Good quality food in restaurant. comfortable room with excellent free wifi connection, ideal for business users

People staying should be aware of the low frequency bump thump from HGV's on the motorway nearby at night, restaurant could do with some dividers as it feels a bit like a classroom or canteen,

Nice hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, good value for money

Although towels were clean they had dirty marks on them which had not been removed by washing. Hotel needs to check its linen more carefully. Marked towels were replaced quickly by staff.

Big and very comfortable bed

Tv in room did not work, I mentioned it on the evening of arrival but said I could not be bothered to change rooms, no one seemed particularly bothered by this

The service and rooms were amazing

Clean, friendly, reasonable wifi, decent breakfast. There is an Asda over the road - which might be useful. everything worked.

Location good as near family

The room was filthy - not hoovered. There was a massive clump of black hair on the shower. The pillows were dirty and too thin and no more in room, there was an ironing board but no iron and the staff apart from one lady on reception were very rude and abrupt. I am a regular stayer at ramada but would not visit this one again

stayed there for two days no 1 came and give towels tissues and nothing. very bad staff and next morning they disturbed alot.

Too many to mention but among them was the area, decor old and tired - seen better in third world countries, no marmalade, fire evac. at 22:00hrs, alarm stopped and started no steer, guidance given by staff.

The quality and condition of rooms , they were actually stinking ! The room size and comfort was not upto mark at all ! Totally in advisable !

My room was freezing , the air conditioning wasn't working and the Heater provided wasn't too good

Great detailed rooms looked wuite reasonable and great value for money

Room not properly cleaned. No Sky Sports in the hotel. Some saff spoke poor English. Half the lights in the room need new bulbs as they didn't work. Food was terrible

The restaurant staff were very good and it was warm - an improvement on our last visit. The menu was varied and reasonable and the food was good too. Close to our clients which was a bonus. The rooms were clean and the shower was hot and powerful.

The receptionist on arrival was not bad mannered but was not really interested, welcoming or professional - a definite decline from our last visit.

Room was clean and tidy under sink bin still had tissues in from last person mmm not nice no spare loo roll and near the end of that 1 surely should have had a spare in there ???

We arrived at this hotel was told our room number but given no directions at all as we never been there before it would be nice to have it explained what door to go through rather than staff playing on mobiles we stayed there for 1 night thought room was ok had 2 med sized bath towels had only 1 cup in the room when there was 2 of us sharing went down for breakfast in the morning 7.15 paid 8.95 each food was warm not hot Asda is opposite should have gone there Paid for our room on arrival told id have to wait for change following day. Showed girl on reception my bill in the morning asked for my change she didn't have a clue till I showed her my receipt and she said ok il get it with a huff surely you should be given change at same time ???. Then went to pay for my breakfast she called another girl to take money could she not multi task ??? we also emailed in advance to ask for a room at the back as it would have been quieter and with a bath was given a room in the front with a shower did not sleep very good due to all the traffic going by so thanks again for that 1 what a waste of a email as you obviously don't take note of them

Hotel receptionist were very very good n very helpful ..very professional and polite.

The rooms were below average ..heaters not working. Waited an hour for someone to bring a heater then decided to change room instead which offered by the receptionist. The workers in the hotel excluding the receptionists were like cowboys they had no consideration for customers and were being unprofessional and lazy. The rooms were dirty and not maintained like an average hotel...the showers had other people's pubic hair floating around. Felt like the towels were worn and poor condition. Stains everywhere. This gives ramada. A bad name.

The hotel looks great as one steps inside with nice furnishings and decor in reception. Room was spacious for a budget hotel and the bed huge and very comfortable.

The main room light was faulty thought the bedside lamps and standard lamp gave sufficient lighting. Heating was set to "roast" with no visible way to reduce the temperature. The worst thing about the hotel without doubt however was the staff who appeared under trained and curt to the point of rudeness, both in reception and the restaurant. It took us 15 minutes to check in with utter confusion as the receptionist gave one room key out on a double booking then dissapeared off to do somethng more important than deal with the guests - leaving someone who had no idea how to do their job trying to find the second booking. In the morning the serve yourself breakfast was cleared away 30 minutes before the restaurant closed (10) although they did cook 4 breakfasts for us a cup of coffee was produced before the staff dissapeared leaving us hunting fro a refill which was eventually supplied for the coffee - tea drinkers had to go without - even the bread for the toaster was cleared away though more was grudgingly produced on request ... after another long wait. All in all the premises were great for the price - the staff however pretty much made it clear that actual guests were and inconvenience they could do without ! For the price though I would stay there again
