With a small harbour and a lock on one side and the Menai Straits on the other, this is a wonderfully quiet spot for a weekend getaway, esp if you own a boat. Friendly staff, reasonable prices

    Wifi kept dropping out

The view, location great for going to Anglesey. Nice village pub with good food, great atmosphere. Swimming pool. Friendly staff.

Breakfasts over priced, especially the vegetarian option, which was one egg a few mushrooms half a tomato and a spoonful of baked beans. Almost no vegetarian option at dinner, had to book dinner and say what you wanted earlier in the day. Food was nice, but it was as if the hotel didn't really want you to eat there.

Staff, location and view - great

Very thin walls, could hear next door and upstairs very clearly. A good night sleep depended on how quiet the neighbours were and how still upstairs were.

The Superior double room was large, although we had the view of the Car Park! Interior in need of modernisation but not an issue! Overall score 3 out of 5

Cooked Breakfast was a bit slow forthcoming...! A bit Disorganised... Swimming pool opens too late...!

Accommodation was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Having the kitchen and dining area was useful and two bathrooms were very convenient. Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful. There is a launderette on site. There is a swimming pool etc but we didnt use these fascilities.

The windows were dirty on the outside and the double glazing had blown which spoilt the magnificent views. Having to pay extra for breakfast bumped up the cost of the stay. The fact that the windows opened fully was a bit of a concern with young children.
