Quiet location with a tiny marina looking out onto the Menai straights.
Has a lovely restaurant called La Marina which does great tapas.
The local pub the Garddfon Inn also does excellent food.
The village is a great central location to visit all parts of North Wales.

So many places to visit so we spent a couple of days on Anglesey and a day in Lleyn Peninsular - Llanbedrog was a great place for beach, local gallery/cafe and beautiful coastal circular walk. We ate out at the two pubs. It’s a very easy area to travel around using your own transport or public transport. Excellent location for a few days away.

There was a distinct contrast between the main road with its typical grey pebbledash buildings and the area down around the marina and the beach front. Excellent Chinese take away. Good Thai restaurant and tapas restaurant. The pub was okay but not exceptional. A very good base to explore the area from.

There isn’t much to do.
There isn’t much to do.
For us it was a good option as it was a sea side room not too far from the start of a race in Snowdon.
Otherwise I wouldn’t necessarily choose to go back there.
It is a real downside not to have breakfast available in the Inn we stayed as there is nothing much really around it- not even a bakery or a cafe that opens early .

A really picturesque and peaceful place with amenities.
It’s within minutes of supermarkets and really really lovely places to visit, but feels secluded in a nice way.

Beautiful scenery, great welcome from the locals and bar staff.
Very good location as we could travel within 30 mins to other beautiful destinations.
We had very good weather too.
Quite area and serene appropriate for us as we were on our honeymoon after getting married the Saturday before.
We would definitely recommend the area.
A very friendly and welcoming pub offering good food and a well-stocked bar situated on the bank of the Menai Straits.
The room (we stayed in the twin) was excellent. Clean, tidy and plenty of room, with an equally impressive en suite.
Plenty of power points with USB connectors and the usual tea/coffee facilities.
Y Felinheli is a very queit village, on the Menai straits. With few shops. Offers a great restaurant and cafe in the harbour area. Great location to explore North Wales.
The staff was excellent, very nice, accomodating and recommended places to eat and attractions. I think, the hotel would benefit from a breakfast bar, as it was difficult to find places to eat around at times. However, they do have a place with a toaster and dining tables, so if you're up for making breakfast yourself, it's perfect. Bathrooms could be updated, but with this price and stunning location, I can't complain.
We loved our stay here. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The room is above a restaurant/pub which we actually enjoyed. It wasn't loud and it was convenient being able to grab a beer or some food. It's a nice little town right on the water. They don't offer private parking, but you don't need it since there is always plenty of parking on the street in front.
We called in advance and was well informed about local amenities. As soon as we got to the hotel we were warmly greeted by the owner and made to feel at home. Throughout our stay they were very helpful and easy going. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We look forward to staying again in the future.
Booked 4 rooms in total, Family run hotel made us feel extemely welcome. Rooms fantastic, amazing sea view rooms, fully equipped, hairdryers, kettle tea coffee milk sugar, even a large fan in every room. Definately recommend! Can't thank them enough for our lovely stay.
The staff were amazing. Room was nice, clean, water view but on the small side for 2 people with a carryon suitcase and backpack each. Restaurant/bar was very busy but they accommodated us (we booked the room last minute) and the food was very good.
the garddfon inn is the nice B&B of the homonym pub. ok for a couple of nights, position is good to
visit Anglesey and Caernarfon. room
was quite small, as the bathroom, but clean. parking is available on the street in front of the hotel.
The location was in a beautiful location on the Menai strait. The owner of the hotel and his family were really friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and tidy. Would certainly stay here again without a doubt.
Lovely little house in a perfect location. Y Felinheli is such a pretty village, and we enjoyed our pub tea at the Garddfon Inn and the Beach Road Playground. Nice quiet spot.
Well located to rendezvous with friends also staying in Y Felinheli, for the purpose of walking in Snowdonia. The pub has a lovely outlook on the Menai Straits.
