The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
basic accommodation, not finished to very high specification.
Ascending Mount Snowdon. A fantastic day, with views to match.
We did not stay long enough.
If you are wanting a confortable, firendly place with the most amazing view ,look no further- This is the place to be .We seriously reccomend!
facilities were good including the pool and bar and the staff were excellent in terms of service and rectifying any issues. Good location for exploring Anglesey, Snowdonia and North Wales
In the penthouse the room was a little chilly on arrival, but heaters were quickly which supplemented the radiators well. Additional payment for breakfast was a bit of a pain, but also gives the option to opt out if required.
No heating for 1 night, no radiator in bathroom, staff took items belonging to me, cleaner left tv blasting next door untill 2am
My 7 year son commented that "the people here are much nicer than in bigger hotels we stay at; they talk to us in a really nice way!" Fantastic customer service with real locals who know the area.
The hotel itself could do with a bit of a revamp. Currently an eclectic feel to the rooms, which won't be to everyone's taste- but clean and comfortable and loads of space in the family room.
The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable with a fabulous view. The swimming pool was a good size and the sauna was lovely. The evening meal was Delicious!
I stayed for 2 nights and my room was below one of the family suites. It was a different group above me for each of the two nights, but both made a lot of noise which carried through to my room. If I had complained to staff, I'm sure they would have done their best to help, but I didn't mention it due to the lateness of the hour.
Relaxed, clean, friendly hotel, in a lovely spot.
Heating not working
Beautiful views from the 3 patio doors out over the Menai Straights, just next and over looking the lock to the marina, just a great location, friendly staff, good food and thanks to them for the bubbly to help us celebrate our wedding aniversary.
Fantastic view from our hotel room over the Menai Straits. We enjoyed the use of the swimming pool. Good on site parking.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Few minor issues with one of our rooms but dealt with and fixed immediately. All the food was wonderful. Excellent cooked breakfast.
We picked to stay here as I was running Man vs Mountain. The hotel was close to the start and finish, and had a sauna and pool to relax and rest my achey body after!
Good location, interesting hotel.
Did not allow our son to sleep with us in existing bed due to insurance issues. We had to pay an extra £40 for a 3 persons room which still had only 1 king size bed and no extra bed. Disappointed as this did not happen at any previous hotel.
I love the view of the ocean from the bed. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I will definitely be staying here again and 100% will be recommending it to my friends and family.
Nothing. It was absolutely perfect
Charmingly old fashioned hotel with a stunning view. Situated in a beautiful little Port, the weather was great which I think makes a difference. Room was large & functional with old fashioned decor but had charm & was clean. Staff were very good.
We were in one of the apartments, with a stunning sea view. Comfortable and well appointed. Friendly and helpful staff too.
We loved everything . Chose the location because it was close to Bangor University when leaving our son off but turned into a beautiful mini break by the sea in the sun. The swimming pool was a fantastic such a surprise . Staff were so lovely thanks Mandy and Isobel for showing our son a warm welsh welcome .
Breakfast Views Very helpful staff Swimming pool Free wifi
the location was brilliant, the staff very friendly
bathroom was a bit old fashioned - a bath rather than shower cubicle
The location and room layout very good
staff very unruly and swearing at customer. Room was not clean and flies on the floor and on the bed. Was the worst experience i ever had since my 10 years using booking.com
beautiful location, balconies with great views; lovely apartment, quirky and very nicely laid out; very friendly and helpful staff
kitchen bin not emptied; previous person's shampoo in bathroom
Very helpful staff, they tried to help us with a problem that we had with the local car hire company Stermat. The views from the hotel were fab, and it had a lovely pool ideal to stretch out in after hill walking .
Cheaper cooked breakfasts would be nice.
Clean hotel. Nice location for north Wales.
Very few restaurants in the local town.
With a small harbour and a lock on one side and the Menai Straits on the other, this is a wonderfully quiet spot for a weekend getaway, esp if you own a boat. Friendly staff, reasonable prices
