Originally a 19th-century manor house, Hotel Savoy has an outdoor swimming pool, an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant, Jazz Bar and deck. There is a beautiful lounge with an open fire, private dining options and a function suite. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, business facilities and free on-site parking including dedicated motorcycle bays. There is also a 24-hour front desk. Montana Restaurant serves a modern seasonal menu. Opening out onto a decked area, Roberto’s Jazz Bar has live music every Friday. Rooms at the Savoy Hotel have a plasma-screen TV with satellite channels, a laptop safe and facilities for making tea and coffee. The hotel also offers a PC for guests to use the internet. Easily found location. Good parking. Restaurant uses very good quality food which is cooked very well. Always request not to be "housed" in the extension wing at the rear. It is tiled throughout, noisy and echos. The door banging and heavy footsteps sound like Strangeway Prison, as do the echoing voices. The service trolley rattling over the tile joints, at 8am, sounds like a train over points. The ground floor, which has poor light due to a high wall outside, also get some noise from the room above. Upon check-out, "Was everything ok"? I stated my piece and was told to request, at booking, a different floor. On your first visit, you are unaware of these things. Now, you have been warned.

This was a last minute booking for our wedding anniversary, the suite was lovely, the food superb and all the staff were welcoming and helpful.We would definately use it again and reccommend it to our friends.

the cleanliness our room was lovely the overall effect of the hotel was very good breakfast good very noisy staff do not take into account rooms are above their working areas evening food very poor menu choice extremely poor

The room we were allocated was on a wing - even though the hotel was practically empty. The room overlooked a brick wall and opening the door to the room was like walking into a fridge. It was so cold it would have been impossible to stay in it. They did change ourt room to one opposite which was a little warmer ( 17.5C) by 10pm

The room I was put in number 100 had an intersting bathroom which was along an internal hall way. Room was comfortale and bathroom massive. The room and corridors could be seen as a bit outdated but cleanliness appeared good.

The restaurant service was superb. The quality and choice of food was excellent. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from central st helier, 15 minute drive from the airport. The bar staff were unhelpful and generally unfriendly. The jazz night was attended by many non residents who reserved seats in the bar making it impossible for residents to sit in the bar.

Good Location Good facilities Restaurant poorly organised. 20 mins for menu, no wine list offerred with menu Not advised of unavailable items until ordered High priced soft drinks with dinner.

Didn't like the fact that the pool wasn't heated and there was a seagull swimming in it! Found the seagulls completely offputting, especially as there were bird droppings everywhere, even on my towel when I came back to the lounger.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel and should not be marketed as 4 star. Our holiday in Jersey was ruined by this wannabe noisy hotel Noisy location and floors. Horrible continental breakfast rather than a hearty cooked meal!

Friendly staff and good food I would not choose to stay in room 60 again as the outlook from the room was poor and the corridor outside the room was noisy probably due to the fact it was a tiled floor. Carpet may help.

I and my wife have stayed at the Hotel before and wanted to repeat the experience. We have always found the Hotel very helpful and the staff very friendly and efficient. The Hotel is close to the Town Centre and within easy reach of the esplanade so that we were able to concentrate on our walking hobby.

We found the hotel to be within easy walking distance of the town centre. The reception staff were efficient, knowledgeable of the locality and very helpful. The room was immaculately clean, large flat screen TV with working remote control. Breakfast was generous but we would have liked mushrooms, just a personal choice. We dined at the restaurant and found the good to be of very good quality, excellently prepared with swift service. We would certainly stay again and have hesitation in recommending The Savoy.

I liked everything about it. The reception staff and hotel Manager were very helpful with nothing too much trouble for them. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jersey.

Quite central location not too far to walk to town. Cheaper than other nearby hotels. Had a pool. Grand exterior and reception area. Corridors old fashioned not refurb. Walls and ceiling far too thin could hear the words on other people's tvs. Breakfast not great.
