It was convenient to where we were going.
Paid for secure parking but could not access it . a refund is due to cover the cost. Lamps not working,. Too dim. Kitchen appliances not clean.
We were delighted to find out that we had our own kitchen with full cooking facilities. It's a great way to save money as you don't have to go out to eat all the time, especially as one of us has complicated dietary requirements. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It's also a huge advantage not to have to carry around a key the whole time and not have to worry about losing it.
The payment process was and still remains a bit of a mystery to me as I have a sum of money frozen on my card that is way higher than the room was supposed to be...
Liked the fact that I could come and go as I pleased with front door and room codes.I walked all over the centre and the hotel was just across the water from the centre.
Nothing in particlular
It was conveniently situated for where we needed to be. It had secure car parking - though not much, so I was probably lucky to be able to book that. It had the basic hotel facilities - ensuite, TV etc and it was useful having a large fridge in the room. There was also a well-equipped shared kitchen.
The bathroom had not been well cleaned - bits of previous guests' toothpaste still adhered to the wall. The room was curiously hot (though the heating was not on) and we had to sleep with windows open, so very aware of passing revelers and early-rising seagulls. A fan or two would have been useful.
Clean room, good facilities in room for one person. Helpful concierge.
Pre-check in information poor (had to chase Hotel re: room code, car parking etc), once checked in it was fine.
Location, ground floor room with shower, ease of access.
Lack of curtains, also no blind in skylight, unable to access wifi.
The premises are clean, and exactly what you expect - as per site description. The staff were helpful with my request to change teh accommodation. Access was simple (the system first time round might be a bit of an anxiety for some but easy once you know how). We stayed for the Balloon Fiesta and was only a short walk to the site (40mins) rather than driving or catching a shuttle bus (given the crowds this was a genius solution!).
Waiting for the access codes and information was a bit nerve-wracking. But once we had the codes was easy. I did try to call the hotel a couple of times and the staff had poor English - so although incredibly helpful, I was anxious that they had understood my changes. The area of the accommodation does not look great at first glance; it feels a bit run-down... but the little pub on the corner was friendly and NOT full of students. Its on a slight hill so may be difficult for some.
Great location, really cheap
Very affordable, easy to find, great place to visit Bristol on a budget.
was extremely comfortable ..(bed )..facilities (kitchen) spot on..no hassle keeping breakfast times etc..bathroom facilities excellent..
only complaint..when we stayed it was during the hot spell..there was no air conditioning ,,or at least we didnt find any..!!!
The lady who was on duty at the time was excellent and very friendly and treated us brilliantly.
The furniture was cheap and just about holding together. Better not to buy flat pack !
