-Cheap -En-suite shower & towels -Hairdryer -Kettle & Coffee -Near by cafes & shops & tubes -Breakfast (included) -Three single beds, rather than a double plus single. -Nearby takeaways
-It is on a road used by emergency services quite a bit (unavoidable in the centre of London I expect though - and I slept through it anyroads)
Good location and price. Ok for short stay. Basic but get what you pay for.
Good state of repair and cleanliness & cheaper than other hotels in area . Breakfast area is also staffed with very helpful people .
location quality clean
road noise size of room
Location perfect right near shepherds bush overground and Westfield shopping centre. Also perfect location for the Apollo venue. Warm welcome from staff and very clean in property.
The beds are very old, could feel every spring, so sleep was poor. Needs new beds and would give 5/5 if this was changed.
hotel position, easily accesible by bus/subway
poor cleaning, small room, horrible beds- cheap and with blankets, very small bathroom, no heat at night except a lousy heater, horrible smell of dirty carpets. Poor breakfast: muffins, toast, butter, jam, coffee, orange juice, no fruits or vegetables. Will not book again.
When I book at Hotel 65, I shouldn't have to walk 20 doors down to Hotel 45. To add insult to injury, they were giving out the wifi code for the hotel next door. Breakfast seemed like an inconvenience to the staff rather than a pleasure - and mixing of cereals is a big no-no in my book.
Afstand tot metrostation is 10 minuten lopen prima.
WiFi werkte niet (was een storing, maar dit werd later pas gemeld). Kamer was in een onbeheerd pand verderop.
Breakfast was poor
Excellent location 24/7 reception
No parking Small breakfast
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful; everything necessary in the room- tea facilities, hairdryer.
The furniture was old and the bed cover looked not very clean; if you have luggage some rooms have no lift, only steps.
Friendly front desk personnel and central location.
Everything about the old decor, tiny closet that didn't even accommodate the hangers, uncomfortable beds, overall not so clean room, overhead shower, short time frame for breakfast and basic selection of breakfast choices.
Good value hotel. Ideal location for our concert (Kate Bush) at Hammersmith Appollo and for restaurants etc. Old buildings but refurbishment underway still and our room appeared newly done, adequate size, good shower/bathroom, clean, extra bedding if req'd, hairdryer, tea and coffe and quiet. I imagine some rooms may be smaller or noisie. Staff very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast good and service quick.
May not be ideal for long stay but any dislikes minimal. Some outside areas had litter/rubbish but they may not have been responsibility of hotel. Television channels limited.
Location, service, clean
Uncomfortable bed and very small room for three, overpriced.
Was very clean and was near to underground
No volume on tv curtain was hanging of and maid came into room before 10 when been told 11 is time to leave thought abit rude
It was a fair walk but ok for The Apollo...there's a pub en route
Traffic noise as on main road. Take ear plugs
All facilities provided for basic budget accommodation: hair dryer, shower, TV, etc. It was comfy and secure, and a good price in comparison to other hotels. Owner was polite and helpful, kindly got me some fruit teabags which I asked for. He was polite and understanding when I voiced a concern. I think he would genuinely try to solve it.
1) Young girl on Reception staff as abrupt and rude when I arrived. I came at 2:30pm & she told me off for being 30 minutes early - "don't do that again!" etc (!!) 2) Someone smoking elsewhere in the hotel, probably nearby room, smoke somehow seeped into my room & gave me headache, hard to sleep. So, had to open windows but street noise was then very loud. There were no non-smoking stickers in my room at all, and I could see none in the corridors or doors of the corridor. Owner needs to place signs all over the place that can't be taken down (he said the stickers get removed by guests who smoke). 3) Breakfast was very poor. I have stayed at 2 other budget hotels on this road offering "Continental Breakfast" and both provided eggs on toast as well as croissants. Hotel 65 had some sort of sweetish bun that I couldn't eat, and 3 slices of underdone toast with 3 small slices of cheese (I also couldn't eat). So I abandoned breakfast there and went down the road to a cafe for a proper breakfast.
Shower was absolutely rubbish with the water just tricking
Close proximity to venue Room reasonably priced
No phone in room Hotel across 3 adjoining premises Reception not in same building Room tiny (should have been called single not double) Bathroom very small (not enough room to dry properly after using shower) Almost no water pressure in shower Noisy from traffic - inadequately glazed to be sound-proof 3rd floor room - no lift
The room had everything I needed. The shower was fantastic. Tea and coffee was provided. Breakfast was amazing.
The horrible milk provided with the tea/coffee. Made the coffee undrinkable.
wifi does not work
For a single night stay, the price was fair, the location too. Relatively clean. The complimentary coffee/tea was cool to have and breakfast was OK, though a bit spartan.
Just like almost all London budget hotels, this one offers very, VERY small rooms. My single bed room was not small - it was minuscule. Hardly any room to turn around... Just a bed, a TV on the wall, a bathroom (a clean one!) which might be problem for a larger person.
I've used this hotel many times for my trips to London. It has always been clean and tidy. It's ideal for someone who will be out most of the day and just wants a clean and comfortable end to the day. It's not far from the underground and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
Close to Westfield Mall where you can park cheaply for 24hours
Made a note that we travelling with baby and no arrangements were made for him. Also was put at the top of the building, lugging all our stuff up 3 flights of stairs was not fun!! Room smelled like toilet was used Breakfast was not pleasant - stale cheap white toast with slice of cheese. When I asked for some oats for my infant son, it was met with nasty attitude. The breakfast I would say was the worst thing about the place,
