Cheap, nasty, loud
Mine was a last min booing for an event at Kensington Olympia as I was let down by another hotel but the staff here were very friendly and helpful. My room was quiet and I had an excellent nights sleep with no noise from other rooms or on the corridor which isn't bad as they were fully booked. Bathroom was spotless, bed was very comfy. I will 100% stay there again.
My room was clean but I get the impression its old as my carpet was looking tatty but if you are looking for basic this won't bother you. No phone in my room so if you need something you have to walk down to reception or simply use your mobile but again it's no biggie.
Everything staff cleanliness breakfast place. Wifi, kettle
No lift. The room Overlooks the street which makes it somehow noisy at night
It was great value for 4 people as a place to lay your head without big prices
Service costs nothing it was ok but could have been better
Best location - bus, subway, railway, shops, eating: 0-10 min walking
The location was great. 3 bus/subway stations in the nearby area and also restaurants and supermarkets.
The wifi was terrible. Found hairs on the bedsheats. A bit noisy since our room was next to the stairs.
The location was great as just a short 10 minute walk to the Hammersmith Apollo, the tube station & bars & restaurant. The room was basic but clean & the bed very comfortable.
The hotel was let down by its staff. Checking in & out seemed like a huge inconvenience to them, when we checked out the guy behind reception just kept shaking his head at my husband & couldn't bring himself to utter a single word to us. Housekeeping were very noisey as they started their rounds, slamming doors & shouting down the corridors (the room doors do not shield any noise at all). Check out was by 11am but housekeeping were knocking on our door at 9am.
The wifi was very good and the cleaner did her job well
The rooms are too small and the staff was very cold with us
the location was the draw-card, and the price seemed fair. Bathroom was updated and provided a generous and hot shower experience Free Wi-Fi We were given a ground floor room Friendly and attentive breakfast staff.
We were booked in for 8 nights and in that time we suffered a very uncomfortable bed because the linen was far too small for the double bed. A polite request re this, did NOT result in any changes; the linen was the same for the whole 8 nights. Towels, changed daily, were quite worn, and toiletries very meagre.
Although my room was small, the bathroom was large with a good shower. Room facilities were adequate for my one night stay. Staff at breakfast were attentive and polite.
Because I was in the building next door to reception, there was no monitoring of guests in my building and my stay was spoiled by other, noisy guests who kept me awake. I would have had to go outside and next door at 2am to find staff to help.
For a budget hotel very good!
Price was okay. Breakfast was basic but okay. Night staff laconic but morning staff were very helpful.
Room was in different building - Hotel 45 so traipse for breakfast. Room up many flights of stairs. No warning about this. Step on entry to building is a big trip risk - evening staff didn't care. Wifi didn't work. Loud snoring from next room. Bugs in bed - sorted by very helpful morning staff and full refund.
good location and price
asked for 4 single beds but was given 2 singles and a double, when asked to change was told nothing else available.....breakfast is very limited
Location good, staff helpful.
Strong smell of cigarette smoke in corridors.
Very basic.mismatched furniture.no spoon on tea tray and mug was minus a handle. Breakfast ended at 9 am.so we missed that. £72 for an uncomfortable saggy mattress for night.
It served the purpose of my visit.
Didn't like the idea of the breakfast _just tea and bread with jam.
I'm 60 years old too many stairs
not what we expected
i booked a room for my daughter and grandchildren as close as possible at least in the same building ended up across the road and our double bed room was only big enough for a single we had to undress and put our case on the floor outside the bathroom and had to climb over the person on the outside of the bed to go to the toilet
A small but friendly hotel. Breakfast was limited but very efficient. Room was actually quite quiet given its location, so had a good night's sleep.
Rooms were slightly smelly to begin with. Radiators turned off at night so very cold.
Shower splash and drainage a problem.
Convenient location Nice and clean Friendly and helpful staff Unbelievable value for money Most accommodating owners Decent local eating establishment
You can't really complain about this hotel, because it is exactly what they say it is: hugely competitive and clean. I probably saved £220 on one night by staying here!
Rooms clean Good prices Staff helpful Location great for London access
Rooms small Water pressure weak Wi-Fi very slow
Quick easy and close to where we needed to be. Breakfast guy was great.
Small Beds, shower soaked the bathroom. Go to one building pay, then directed somewhere else.
Bed was hard.
Ideal for a young couple wanting a cheap nights sleep after a concert at the empire sheperds bush. Reception very friendly. Hotel is easy to find and waking distance from tube.
Very small bathroom and we had he cleaner interrupt us twice before 10am when checkout wasn't until 11am.
