We stayed at the hotel to visit our daughter who recently moved to Falmouth. The hotel staff were always courteous, and extended their friendliness to our daughter who joined us for breakfast on the second morning. The sea view from the dining room and lounge as well as our room were fantastic. The hotel does not have a lift. I was glad I noticed this beforehand and rang to make sure our room was on the 1st floor (they don't have a bedroom on the ground floor) as I have difficulty climbing the stairs. There should be a warning given somewhere. |

Ideal location for beach, town and University. A friendly and typically English hotel with parking which we were allowed to use once we had checked out. |

The welcome was warm and handled by efficient and friendly staff-as was the rest of our short visit. Our room was clean and well prepared. The location of the hotel is superb. Breakfast was good. All in all a really enjoyable short break and one we look forward to repeating. The only very very small complaint was that I would not describe parking as "ample" as we could not comfortably manouvre our car in and out of the small parking areas and ended up parking on the street. But this is a very minor point and street parking suited us fine! |

Small and personal. Everyone was pleasant and very efficient. Our room was a premier room with sea view which we paid a little extra for, but it was worth it. The room had a fantastic Velux window that converted into a small "balcony". Restaurant food was very good - as was the breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. |

I was a solo traveller, location was great, everything was within walking distance, room was big for a single room, bathroom was x-tra clean. I wish some of the residents were closer to my age,am in late 20's all guests were elderly, would have been nice to see someone of my age.but no big deal! |

Cleanliness and helpful staff As mentioned above (Q1) also only one choice of draught beer, far too pricey at £3.40 per pint. Main meals could be a little more imaginative. I feel that it should be pointed out that upper staircases may be OK for spring chickens but Not for the less agile visitors. I would recommend the hotel on the basis that the above comments re-room access and restricted headroom were made available prior to acceptance of bookingwhere applicable. |

Courteous staff. Good and well presented meals. Comfortable rooms. Good views of beach and coastline. We stayed at the only remaining twin bedroom on the second floor and found the lack of a lift trying |

Staff very friendly and helpful - well organised. Staff go out of their way to make the stay a comfortable and pleasant one. Hotel spotlessly clean and comfortable. Food delicious and well presented. A wider variety of menu eg change menu half way through the week. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians or people on dairy free diets. |

I loved the location - the view of the beach and the sea with the palm trees in the front. The room was lovely as was the bathroom - very clean, nice new double glazed windows. Could walk easily to the beach and the Gilly Beach Cafe which is superb. The breakfast was one of the worst I have had for the money. Only cheap white bread available. Dreadful tasteless 'poached' egg which looked and tasted artificial. My girlfriend asked the manager for a coffee at 10.50 pm and he said curtly she could have a drink but not a coffee. So a pity that cost cutting and poor staff attitude spoil this lovely place. |
