Warren and his wife made us feel so welcome and we will not hesitate to stay there again. The fact there was someone there 24hrs a day also made it even more reassuring. Yes...great hotel and I urge others to check it out. The shower in our en suite not the best but it wasn't a problem overall!

We stayed in room 23 which is a suite and it was beautiful. It was black and white and was nice and modern. The bed was very comfy and the en suite was gorgeous. We had sky TV and when we asked for the Wifi password, we received it with no difficulties. You get what you pay for with this hotel. Spend a little extra and you get a beautiful, comfortable room with an en suite. All staff were really friendly and helpful and its true when it says it is literally a two minute walk from Anfield stadium. Easy enough to get a taxi into the town centre, will cost around £8. Local shops and café near by and a local cash point which is really handy. We hadn't tried the breakfast because we do prefer a full English but we knew we wouldn't receive that when we booked. Also the bathroom was freezing...not a problem really though as the bedroom was lovely and warm :)

Tidy, contemporary presentation - smart, well put together design scheme and decor throughout. Great staff, really welcoming and my mum really enjoyed the personal welcome we got from the owner. Loved the laid back, unfussy ethos of the place. Just didnt feel like anything would be too much. Not a 4 star hotel but neither did we want it to be. Steeped in Liverpool culture, smart presentation, amazing placement for visiting Anfield and secure parking. Gorgeous outdoor areas to hang out in too. Would stay again in a flash! Easy to find, comfortable, sophisticated decor, crackin staff and better quality stay than any b&b i've stayed in for a long time. it's a b&b with a hotel's sensibilities. Just needs a liiiiiiiiiitle spruce up in places - scratched wallpaper, tired edging on table stop in room. Beautifully decorated, just needs a little bit more loving!

Greeted by Rizwan who couldn't do enough for us, showed us around the hotel and we were wowed! Little gem in the middle of Anfield! Manager also visited us, again very friendly! All rooms black and white decor! Really impressed with the suite down stairs with attached music room!

I went with 6 of my friends for new years eve and stayed in the club suite which has a dancefloor, bar etc in and it was amazing! The staff were really nice and did us breakfast in the morning and got us everything we needed whilst we were there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone going for a hen night, stag, night out etc. Not really a family place, so you don't have to worry about noise. Highly rated!

Very close to both Liverpool and Everton football. No reception when I tried to check in - they'd gone to the football and locked up. Ridiculous. When I finally got in it was my fault for not phoning to say I'd be late (7:30. Late?) Most rooms have shared bathroom TV didnt work. Tray of tea making stuff had little on it. No kettle! "Continental Breakfast" comprised a choice of cereal. No coffee, no tea, no pastries

Other than it's close proximity to Anfield absolutely nothing. I will be writing under separate cover, detailing my complaint and will include images of the hotel and our accommodation. We will ge requesting an entire refund. This was the most misleading advertising I have ever witnessed.

The service at Hotelanfield was first class, they were very welcoming and if you needed anything they would get it for you straight away. Raz the receptionist was a lovely guy and was always there for you when you needed him. Jed who was also works there sometimes was one of the best people my family have ever met. He was a top man and would take us anywhere we needed to go. He also showed us around town and gave us some history about Liverpool. I highly recommend staying at Hotelanfield as it is such a lovely place especially if you are going to see a football game.

At least it had free wifi Awful place, will never stay again! When we first arrived we were shocked and disappointed to find out it that this place is not a hotel!! It's a bed and breakfast! So if you like bed and breakfasts maybe you'll like this place, but I hated it! There are communal bathrooms! That's right folks, nowhere on here does it say you have to share bathrooms with multiple strangers. The manager is weird and invasive. On multiple occasions he entered our room without an invitation. Horrible place - what a waste of money!!

Staff were great. As a business traveller, booking into a 'Boutique' hotel, I expected double beds and I expected ensuite facilities. I think to call it a Boutique' hotel is stretching it a bit. Whilst the room was clean and tidy, the only furniture consisted of 4 single beds and a chest of drawers. There was no seating or a table for reading / working. Breakfast was basic with no hot options and a serve yourself approach.

I really liked the modern design of the fit-out and furnishings. Also the owner was great, very chatty and personable. The lady that came in to assist with breakfast was amazing! A real Liverpool resident, with great personality - it was impossible not to love her!! Attention to detail was missing, which detracted a bit from the luxury of the property (E.G. broken door handles, leaking pipes, the yard was messy etc). The detail really needs to be addressed for the hotel to reach its potential.

very friendly manager and his wife, clean comfortable rooms and facilities, helpful and imformative and the location was superb for a trip to liverpool football stadium, being only 300 yards down the road. also the convenience of leaving the car at the hotel throughout the day. the only little hiccup we had was there wasn t anyone in when we arrived, the manager had popped out, and there wasn t any way we could get in,we were a little surprised at this especially after a long journey however this was soon recified by calling booking.com and he soon reappeared and couldn t have been more helpful, perhaps a suggestion would be to ask guests to give a call to the hotel with a eta so that someone could be there,

Warren the host was a top man. Really friendly, really helpful. Our room was very lush and designer, super fixtures and fittings with a great view over Stanley Park and 2 mins walk from Anfield. Will definitly go back. Not a complaint - just a note, our room had a lovely sunken bath, but no shower - so if you're shower people be sure to request a room with a shower.
