Hotel BristolNarrowcliff, TR7 2PQ Newquay (Show map) Good, Score from 12 reviews“Very good location within close proximity to Newquay town centre and away from the noise of nightclubs and people walking home. Nice breakfast.”
Jeremy,
Redditch
The Hotel Bristol is located on clifftop over looking Tolcarne Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. From the reception to the lounges and cocktail bar you can relax in spacious comfort and enjoy the award-winning restaurant. This family-owned and managed hotel by the sea is the ideal location from which to explore the delights of the Duchy, with its many picturesque coastal villages, spectacular cliffs and rugged moorland. It is also just the place to get away from it all or even the perfect venue for a business meeting, conference or dinner dance. Please Note: Single-sex parties are not permitted under any circumstances. The hotel has the right to refuse you on check-in. Hotel Rooms: 74, Hotel Chain: Best Western.

The location was perfect. Open the curtains to the beautiful Newquay beach of Tolcarn. The breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Set you up for the day. Free parking is always important. It's a Best Western so we added points and you know the standard is going to be high. I think they could have had Sky and therefore a better choice on the television. The information about the tv channels in the information book didn't agree with the actual programmes on the tv.

The customer service in this hotel is the best that I have come across in the UK by some considerable margin. In fact, it's head and shoulders above anywhere else I have stayed in the last 10 yrs. It's so hard to find a hotel in the UK where you feel that the staff actually enjoy helping you. No task too small - and the attention to detail really sets the Hotel Bristol apart. An incredibly well run hotel that's been in the same family for many many years - which is why the service compares so favourably with the more corporate hotels. Also helps that the hotel has one of the best views of Newquay - you'll want to keep the curtains open to watch the waves rolling in across the bay. Incredibly child friendly too - really impressive. Was upgraded to the biggest suite in the hotel. Absolutely huge room, but a little dated. Plumbing was a bit suspect and at certain times of the day, water pressure was low - especially when the hotel was full. However, these aren't complaints by any means - simply added to the character.

Comfortable hotel. Courteous staff. A bit stuck in the past. Would have preferred a buffet style breakfast.

Trevlig personal och ett fantastiskt läge med utsikt över Atlanten. Hotellet är gammalt och slitet. Dåliga sängar. Enligt vår uppfattning inte värt det höga priset. Man får betala dyrt för utsikten.
