The hotel was fine and the staff were helpful. However we were in a ground floor room and didn't get a wink of sleep! Our neighbours were very noisy and caused a disturbance and the police had to be called. However, after the police had gone they carried on being very noisy. Such a shame as we were happy with the hotel and staff. See above. I cannot recommend the hotel and it would put me off staying there again. I think the guests should have been told to leave bearing in mind the police had been called.

It was 15 minutes' walk from the city centre conference venue, and the area was not as unwelcoming as I had been led to believe prior to my trip. The breakfast was good and the wi-fi was useful for work. It was very thoughtful to leave a tampon (unopened, thankfully) poking out from under my bed, but not absolutely necessary for obvious gender reasons. A somewhat timorous peek revealed that, despite being on casters, the beds had probably not been moved for some time. The curtains were overdue a wash and a dash of 'stay- white' as well. Overall, I felt that it didn't quite live up to the £90+ a night price tag.

Dump. Glad I was only staying for one night. Crap shower, mould on the ceiling. Carpet had been taken from a pub.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is secure parking there and near to a retail park but it is out of the way if you want to walk into the city by yourself.

The hotel is fairly close to the city. Within walking distance. The beds are comfortable. And the staff were English. The bathroom floor was really wet when we arrived, and the room is a bit dull as there isn't much light. There is an electric heater in the room but this was not very hot but was adequate. Nothing major though.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and on the 2nd night I changed room, the bed wasn't clean, the headrest was dirty with mud splats on headboard, someone has left rolled up chewing gum on the chair arm rest and there was a smell of dampness to the room. The 2nd room was much cleaner
