the location - very near to Paddington station the rooms were tiny and I mean tiny. the staff were friendly enough but theIr English comprehension skills weren't enough to understand and react in the best way when something wasn't o.k. A percentage was added to my bill because I paid by credit card and when I wanted to leave my luggage there on the last day before going to the airport I would have had to pay an amount - per bag too - so I didn't bother. The rooms were clean enough when I arrived but the standard wasn't kept during my stay. I won't be recommending the hotel to anyone else and I won't stay there again

Perfect location - 200 meters from Lancaster Gate Tube station and 210 meters from the gate of Hyde Park. 500 meters from Paddington Railways Station. Clean, nice, friendly. Definitelly recomended.

the hotel was well located I stayed for 5 nights and although the room seemd clean it wasn't cleaned particularly well.once I had arrived. There were extra costs for paying by credit card at the hotel. There were extra costs for leaving luggage on my last day. Breakfast was available - at an extra cost. The rooms were tiny, and I mean really tiny. The staff were very young foreigners whose English was good but not good enough for problem situations.

Great location, right in between padding ton station and hide park. Very nice decoration with a 30's touch. Practical. Small room but normal since we were 3 with one double and one single. I recommend it but beware the shower.... We spent two nights and on the second morning when we woke up a bit later (9:30) there was no water left to take a shower !!! We had to insist so they land us the key to another bedroom so we could wash.

Managed to get a new room on the second floor and we also got a hair dryer from reception, obviously used to this! Location good. Lack of water, could not flush toilet or shower as our room was at the top of the hotel and tanks obviously not sufficient for busy times in the morning. Hair dryer not working .

Location - two minute walk from two tube stations on different lines 1. Staff were rude and aloof 2. We stayed in a twin room the first two nights which was absolutely tiny you could barely walk around the beds 3. We left that room at 08:00 on saturday and returned at 18:00 to find our room was still unmade - utterly ridiculous - had to sleep in unmade beds that night 4. moved to a single occupancy double room the following night - no sound proofing was listening to neighbours television until well past 01:00 and was woken to the other neighbours 'getting friendly' with other 5. was given two single duvets for my double bed so ended up sleeping on one half the bed anyway - complete waste of the extra money i spent on the larger room 6. checked out two hours early and was then charged 5 pounds to store my little carry on suitcase in their cupboard for two hours - told them where to keep their 5 pounds and lugged the suitcase around london myself

Location & staff at the reception. My room was over priced by booking.com. No complementary WiFi. No complementary luggage storage after checkout. Everything in the hotel seemed to have been commercialised.

Really convenient location to Paddington. Lovely en-suite facilities. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Carpet not well hoovered: I found someone else's hair, and clothing shop tags on the floor next to the bed.

Location Understaffed at check-in, had to wait more that 1/2 hr. Same procedure at check out. £10 for 2 bags to leave luggage in the luggage room, rip-off. Bedside light did not work. Shaver socket did not work. Will not stay there again!

Good location and good price for a weekend trip to London Washand basin is a bloody nuisance. One of these daft design over funtion concepts that make it real difficult to wet your kisser, instead of the floor, when trying to have a shave.
