Humber Royal Hotel - "A Bespoke Hotel"  

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The location, for us, was perfect, as our friend were just out side of Grimsby, so was an easy visit. Found the Hotel very quite and peaceful. I am a very tall person, so found the room and bed very spacious and very comfortable. When we arrived we found the room very warm, opened a couple of windows and it soon become 'just nice.' Bathroom facilities were perfect and very clean with plenty of hot water. Very happy with the whole experience and will be booking again in the future.

No mini-bar in the room. No local information in the room - we could have been in a room anywhere.

Stylish room, with good standard of furniture, well decorated and very clean. Can see a lot of money has been invested in the property. Lovely view of golf course. Quiet, and bed very comfortable, Bathroom gorgeous. Flat screen tv with lots of channels and free wi-fi .

Service at breakfast was poor. My order of eggs on toast did not arrive in 30 mins and I had to leave for work without eating . Seemed to be regular occurrence as other guests said service always slow but particularly bad that morning. Unacceptable when most guests seemed to be there on business. I saw three other guests ask where their food was. Staff at breakfast were also very unwelcoming and it seemed everything was too much trouble for them. A shame because it lets down an otherwise very good hotel.

The intenet access from the rooms was very poor at times.

Great staff, good location feels like you are in the country, very relaxing, breakfast good, overall great value and for only £9 more than the Premier Inn its unbelievable - I recommend you go here every time.

There is the obvious party / disco issue on a Saturday night (which does affect many hotels nowadays) and whilst the music could be heard in the bedrooms, it stopped at a reasonable time and wasn't too much of a problem.

Bedroom and bathroom were excellent - Bed was comfortable Free Wi-Fi conection - Excellent Breakfast - If only this hotel was located someware different.

From the outside it is the uglyest hotel I have ever seen, it looks like a prison. There was a message in the bedroom about recent car break ins from the hotel car park This meant that I could not relax, thinking that the car either may not be there in the morning or had been broken into. For this reason only I would not stay again

Excelllent value on haalf board package. Given upgraded room overlooking golf course. Food very good, service excellent. will certainly stay again.

The friendly staff, breakfast, restaurant. We were here for a family visit and will surely come again.

No comments on the Humber Royal! I would advise other guests to always check the reservation directly with the Hotel so any misunderstandings can be avoided.

Friendly reception - efficiently dealt with. Excellent, spacious, fresh- smelling room with new spotlessly clean bathroom and easy-to use shower. (Couldn't get wireless for some reason but wasn't too bothered!) Very quiet and comfortable. Great coffee for breakfast. (Not keen on the Lincolnshire sausage - but worth a try) Nice variety of fruits and cereals - well-cooked and presented breakfast with cheery, helpful staff.

The lighting in the rooms is ok but could be a weeny bit more reader friendly.
