Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was no hot water during our stay, so we could not shower or bath. The food was mediocre and some of the staff did not communicate well. The hotel decor was tired and in need of updating. Not very impressed overall, and would not go there again.

Lovely staff. The hotel was a little tired but the cleanliness was impecable. Great price so was value for money. Lovely breakfast. Plenty of choice on bar menu and brilliant prices on food and really reasonable for drinks in the hotel bar. It's my second time at the hotel as I have friends in the area and I'll definately use it again.

We both thought that the hotel decor in Reception and in the Hall areas was very in keeping with the traditiion of the building. However, the decor in our room was somewhat dated compared to say Weatherspoon's Hotels, which are often old buildings like the North Euston. We thought that the standard of the food in the Bar and at Breakfast was very high and the service at Breakfast from the male waiter we had, in particular, was excellent. We came to the North Euston because of the Beer Festival and because I have always eaten here in trhe past when in Fleetwood, and I am not sorry we booked the venue at all. However I would say that having booked via the web I was sad to be charged extra for Breakfast and would use your own website if booking again. Our only slight irritation was having to wait to recalim our key when we came back to Reception on the Friday evening as this wait took longer than would be usual in other hotels.

Old world charm The North Euston was fine, but Fleetwood was rather sad.

I usually enoy my stay with you, but this time I was taken ill and had to leave before I should have done I was taken very ill and could not stay for the designated period. I went to reception to hand my key in and to explain that I was ill The man took the keys, never asked (or cared) how I was going to get home, even thoughh we had an hour bus journey to the station, then two trains and a bus journrey to arrive, I would have thought he would have asked if we were OK. Even though we had paid for an other night and braeakfast he didnot offer a refund or even a word of comfort for this hotel this wa s bad

The hotel bedrooms were dated but spotless. The hotel staff were plesent and there was a nice atmosphere in the Bar. The food at the hotel was vary good value for money. The eating area's in the hotel were very smartly decorated, if only the bedrooms were of the same standard Im sure the hotel would be awarded another star. The dated bedrooms.I would recomend the hotel with a note of the dated rooms.

We were pleased by the evening party we attended. The downstairs dining and function rooms were elegant and up to date. However the bedroom number 57 whilst having a superb view was a little on the shabby side, and had the squeakiest floor I have ever heard.Breakfast was beautiful, well cooked and well presented. ..All in all an enjoyable evening . regards g Giles

The location was good to travel around and visit nearby beaches. We understand that the hotel is old and has a lot of history, however, it appeared to be "tired" and in need of extra care to make it vibrant and appealing. It is a shame that the reception area is hidden away from view - on arriving at the hotel it was a little confusing to see stairways and doorways etc before actually finding the reception.

Very helpful staff, nice location, good breakfast. The room was very dated, with holes in carpet and bedclothes - the picture on the site was not a good representation of my room.

The breakfast was good 1.The reception staff require to make you more welcoming. They were not exactly friendly and did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. 2. The pillows were apparently feather pillows which aggravated my wifes hay fever. The bed was hard.

Fikk på forhånd inntrykk av å kunne få et rom med havutsikt, men fikk et trist rom på baksiden uten utsikt med et lite skittent vindu. Dyrt I forhold til standard var det også. Man burde ha en myere lavere pris på et slikt rom

The bar staff were very helpful and friendly as were the breakfast staff. Nice hotel for the elderly but not really suitable for business The receptionist was not very friendly or helpful and as this is the first impression of the hotel I think more training is required
