This seafront hotel with bar and free parking is a 15-minute walk from Pleasure Beach and a short tram ride from Blackpool Tower and the center of town. The Fame is located on South Promenade and overlooks the Irish Sea. Its bedrooms have a private bathroom, TV, tea/coffee and central heating. Start the day with a self-service breakfast, and then you can explore Blackpool's attractions by foot, or via the tram or bus, which stop across from the hotel. The Fame can provide an evening meal, and there is a pool table if you choose to stay in. The hotel was completely renovated in 2010. Hotel Rooms: 15

Excellent location, there was a tram stop just right outside which we used alot with having children 6 and 4, we got a day pass for £9 which saved us money. The buffet breakfast was very good (have as much as you want) the bar prices were good £2.70 a pint of carling.the owners family were staying at the same time as us and our kids were playing with there kids,nice family.the rooms were clean,there was a nice big front window which you could sit and have a drink and watch the world go by.we would use the fame hotel again.plus there was parking spaces outside of hotel which is a massive bonus as parking in blackpool is about £10 for 24 hours

The location for all tourist places eg tower,pleasure park. Advertised meals but only available Monday to Thursday when we went,April.

The price was the best deal ? the owners were lovely friendly and very wellcoming .it was spotlessly clean and the buffet breakfast was a great idea ? u could have has much or as little as u wanted ?location is ideal for pleasure beach and tower .Will defanetley go back thankyou .

breakfast was fantastic all the food was hot and well displayed dont try the sausage taste like cardboard our room was shown on web site as a fantastic but really it was not what was on there but something from the 80's broken four poster bed and the curtains was shower curtains with plastic hoop's lol i really think you should look at these hotels on arrival than on the web we should have refunnd crap hotel

The Fame was excellently positioned, the couple who ran the hotel were friendly and helpful, the room was a bit snug but perfectly clean and comfortable. The full english breakfast was excellent. Also car parked for free would highly recommend this hotel.

Barry made my stay by keeping the bar open till very late thanks to his wife Leslie as well for good breakfasts. My two children (girls aged 10 and12) were very comfortable as was my wife who only had one complaint a seagull woke her up at 6 am I told her to shut up i thought we were at the seaside for gods sake.Would recomend this hotel to anyone going for a short break but not if you hate seagulls all the best to you and I hope to come back for the lights in october Gareth Fullick and family
