Great, comfortable rooms. Dinner was sensational.
Was rather hot and windows did not open very far.
Everything was great
Generally it was what we expected so far as facilities & cleanliness are concerned.
The bar staff in the evening were incredibly rude, arrogant, childish and aggressive. Never known anything like it. We took 4 rooms and asked that all room charges be charged to just our room. This instruction, although confirmed in writing and at check-in was completely ignored. The place is a modern-day Faulty Towers.
Excellent location, good service, fair pricing
Very good decor and surroundings. Staff are first class.
Food was expensive, choice not great and portions, on the whole, were small. The exceptions were the breakfast smoked salmon and scrambled egg and coffee - both excellent value.

The bed was very comfortable
The food was good but a little overpriced.
It was excellent
Good food, nice restaurant, fine breakfast. Very clean. Well appointed rooms.
The staff were helpful on arrival and knowledgable about the best places to go sightseeing etc. Our bags were taken up to the room when we returned to the hotel which was great. The food was excellent and whilst the choice was limited it was because it was all cooked fresh.
I made the booking but it was a treat to be paid for by my sister but when I checked in the receptionist took a swipe of my card but processed it as a sale of £50 when my sister checked out the following day I was debited the £50 and she did not realise. I didn't have the heart to say but was cross as it spoilt the treat
It's near Cambridge but away from the bustle. Lovely building, relaxed atmosphere. Chic menu. Comfortable bed and spacious bedroom and bathroom.
Classy comfort. Good location just on edge of town. Quiet and understated.
slow restaurant service, no gym
The bed, continental breakfast was good, also quite quiet and i am a light sleeper.
Service at breakfast a bit erratic, nothing major, just not noticing simple things like ordering two teas but only receiving one cup and saucer, we took one from a neighbouring table not being used. Rooms have no aircon so can get a bit hot in summer although they do provide room fans. Also generally slightly expensive for the overall quality and service.
A member of staff managed to order a taxi correctly
The continental breakfast only includes cereal, so am pretty much forced to pay for a breakfast, that is not very nice and takes a good 30-60 minutes to receive. The complimentary turn down service does not exist! The room looked exactly the same on both nights. Requested room service that didn't arrive. Ordered drinks at the bar that didn't arrive No air-con in room - just a measly table fan. Very over priced - can see why it is not a 5 star hotel, but am confused as to why it managed to get 4 stars....should be more 3 star.
The staff were immediately responsive for getting an iron, ironing board, sewing kit and shaving kit to our room, when asked.
The weather was extremely warm and we had no air-con in our room. The windows would only open a fraction, so we were far too hot the entire time. There was a heavy duvet on our bed, which we had to keep off due to the heat. Be warned: the hotel advertises a hair-stylist facility. I opted for a blow-dry, as my partner and I were attending an event on the Saturday. The hair stylist charged me a whopping £46 - to be paid in advance. When she came to my room, it was obvious from the outset that she was absolutely not a professional stylist and she made a complete mess of my hair. I ended up having to restyle it myself. AVOID this so-called facility. It is neither in-house, nor is it a professional service and it is far too expensive for what it offers.
Atmosphere was good
Very disappointed about the food quality both for breakfast and lunch
Very confortable room. Excellent table for diner and brealfast. Ideal location to visit Cambridge
Friendly staff, very comfortable and clean.
beautiful surroundings, stunning decor, sublime food, friendly wait staff, amazing bathroom and toiletries, comfy beds. A real occasion hotel! Wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.
Reception staff were a bit confused by our booking and made check in of two rooms slightly stressful for us. but this is only minor niggle at an amazing hotel.
The bed was very comfortable.
We did not think the hotel was a four star hotel. It had mildew in the bathroom and decor was fairly standard.
The Felix offerred us lovely facilities, pleasant ambience and helpful staff. We would certainly recommend this to others.
The fact that we couldn't stay longer.
