All staff were very friendly and helpful. We had afternoon tea and an evening meal, both were great, specially the evenng meal - excellent quality. Room was very clean and relaxing and I would definiately stay again, although I do think that the room was a little expensive.

Excellent location for cambridge visit - set in extensive and peaceful grounds but just a short cab ride into town centre. Not cheap but well worth the extra. Sunday lunch was top quality and very good value.

Comfortable and clean. Excellent restaurant. Staff mostly attentive and helpful. Pleasant surroundings. Nice and quiet- the only price you pay for this is a 20 minute walk into the city centre, which we actually quite enjoyed. There are also very regular buses into the city if you are unable to walk. I think there is very little to complain about unless you are being very picky!

A perfect location for this boutique hotel; room and bathroom very comfortable. You need to reserve the award winning restaurant but it's really worth it. The continental breakfast which is included in the price of the room is beautiful and you could stay there for the whole morning! A really good hotel if you're coming on a visit to Cambridge.

The building and the care of the garden all around is fabulous. Also excellent the care of the interior, from the dining room to the bed rooms. Cleaned and confortable. We had a lovely stay and we highly recommend it.

Easy and efficient check in, great room and bathroom, extremely comfortable bed and sumptuous bed linen, hotel art in reception areas and corridors, lovely breakfast, helpful staff. I've stayed here before on business but it was a good hotel to bring my partner for a romantic weekend.

Excellent hotel. Short distance out of city but we picked hotel because of that. Quiet with high level of service. My wife was feeling unwell at one point and the staff delivered a hot water bottle to the room. Simple but nice touch. For the room rate not sure if breakfast a bit pricey but overall great experience would go back again

Were upgraded on arrival to a suite. Found staff most pleasant and helpful. Food in restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Had booked a table when booking room. Glad we did as it was very busy.
