Absolutely fantastic staff - really friendly. Room was beautiful, can't believe how inexpensive it is for the quality. Will definately be returning!

Good location with easy car parking. Rooms were well finished and comfortable. The Graffiti restaurant was excellent.

Rooms were very modern and felt very luxurious.

It was surprisingly noisy. The room is by the road, and the general melee in the hotel (even though our room was at the end of a corridor) was intrusive and sadly dampened the overall experience. Nice rooms but slamming doors and cars/vans passing your window from the early morning are not a welcome part of any stay.

Food was superb. Overall ambience was great. Welcoming atmosphere. Staff were all fantastic.

Nickel and dime like charges and fees, for example 10 pounds per hour after checkouts after noon.

check-inn is after 2.00 am, we arrived at the hotel at 12.00 O'clock, so the room was not ready ,so we had to go for 2 hours and to come back later.this is not so good specially if you have A young child.also I do not understand if the check in is at 14.00 why the check out is at 11.00 am,I think it should be later.anyway, we had dinner at the restaurant at the evening,in our opinion the food it was not really good and it was very expensive.

Convenient when appointments at Addenbrooks Hospital

Beautiful hotel, plush room with king sized bed, feather pillows and spotless bathroom, we really enjoyed our stay. Food was gorgeous!

Room was lovely, felt very new and the bed was fantastic. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Wish I could have spent more of my time there.

Would have been nice if the full breakfast included at the price, but that said, the continental was very nice - and filling.

It was a very clean and nicely decorated hotel, the bedroom was a great size - King Room and they changed the linen to non-feather which was great. Very handy for Cambridge City Centre, via taxi or bus. Peaceful at night, could open the windows. Absolutely loved Cambridge.

At reception there was a relaxed and informal manner, and all the staff we came across were very friendly and easy-going. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the location meant it was very quiet, away from main roads and traffic noise. We liked all the different artwork in the downstairs areas - nice modern decor in the older part of the hotel - you would not describe this hotel as shabby! It was nice to look out over the garden at breakfast, even in February! The continental breakfast suited us just fine - lovely fruit salad and a good selection. Service was swift and attentive. Although we did not eat in the restaurant in the evening we would definitely try it another time and it seemed to be popular with non-residents. All in all we had a thoroughly pleasant stay here and would come again.

There was an interesting 'tweetling' sound in the bathroom - maybe from the fan system in the ceiling, but you couldn't hear it if you kept the bathroom door closed during the night - this may disturb light sleepers otherwise! Nevertheless this was just about the only intrusive sound, so rather a minor complaint. There were no pictures at all in our room which was surprising as there were so many interesting pieces of artwork elsewhere in the hotel - a few prints on the wall would have been nice. Also if you are expecting a room in the older part of the hotel you are likely to be disappointed as the majority of rooms are in a modern extension - the old part which is heavily featured in the photos is very small in comparison! This didn't bother us as we felt the blend of old and new had been done very well. If you expect to walk into Cambridge then it will take a good 20 - 25 minutes - bear this in mind as once you get to the city centre it is definitely somewhere to explore on foot! But definitely feasible if you like a good walk!

The excellent and friendly service at every point, with great willingness to help. Spacious and sparklingly clean. Excellent continental breakfast.

In spite of the heater in our room being on full, the room was rather cold and I had to put my overcoat on the bed on the second night. The corridor was rather forbidding and could do with some pictures on the wall.

Liked the food how comfrey the bed was I liked the friendlie staff and it was close to the city

Full English breakfast was £10 extra and my wife was told that if we booked direct it would have been cheaper.

The bed has a seam in the middle that made sleeping next to your partner difficult.

The hotel was very tastefully decorated for Christmas and, generally, the interior decor was to a high standard with original art work.

I found the staff slightly unfriendly with the exception of the receptionist and cleaner.
