The worst hotel I have ever stayed. I wouldn't go there again even if its for free. Do not stay on this hotel. Bad service, dirty, terrible bed, rude people. Avoid this hotel

Everything in the Hotel looks very tired and worn particularly all soft furnishings, bedding, towels and curtains. No hair dryer was provided. Only two mis-matched tea cups were provided in a room for 4 people. Only 2 individual cartons of milk were provided and these were not replenished in our 2 night stay. I had to request extra toilet roll as only half a roll left in the bathroom for 3 people. Insufficient bedding provided - we all woke up feeling cold in June! Breakfast - very mean. No refils for coffee/ tea. Continental breakfast consisted of two slices of cheap sliced bread and seedless, poor quality jam - other residents made complaints about the poor quality breakfast saying it was more like staying in a Salvation Army Hostel than a Hotel in London. The Full English was 2 slices of bacon, a sausage, baked beans and 1 fried egg. It was adequate. On a safety perspective - our 4th floor room was unsuitable for small children as there was no safety catch on the window and a child could easily climb out, particularly as one of the beds was positioned under the window. The staff were miserable; they treated guests like they were a nuisance.

Only thing good was the location for the easy bus service to gatwick aiport The hotel is old and run down, a sleepless night with the noise from the cars and planes. No customer service, no hand towels, shampoo and no remote for tv. The hygeine standards are very low, waiters fingers in food bowls and glasses, and no sign of hair being tied back/covered in kitchen

Hotel Lily is very clost to the West Brompton tube stop, Earls Court, and it is in a lively neighborhood. A full English breakfast is included with your room rate (eggs, bacon, toast, beans and sausage, coffee or tea.) It was quiet and easy to sleep at night. The bed was fine, the room was clean, and it was serviced on a daily basis. No bathmat, only one bar of soap (we were there 10 days, we brought our own). A 5 pound deposit was charged for a phone charger. Another 5 pounds would have been charged for internet access. I would recommend this hotel to someone who is interested in a budget trip as we were.

Location was excellent. Facing Earls Court. Very close to west brompton tube station. Ideal for people visiting Stamford Bridge. The price was great for the location and car parking at £15 a day was reasonable. Breakfast choices were limited but hot and served promptly. If you're sharing a twin room it's very reasonable considering the location and the fact that you get breakfast. I'd stay again. The rooms are in need of a refurb. There was mould around my window sill. There was dust on the carpet and a discarded cotton bud at the side of the bed hinting that the cleaners are not too over zealous.

The only positive comment I could make would be about the location, it close to the tube, though if you are spending your days in Inner London you should wait for a Wimbledon train to avoid changing at Earls Court. Also, West Brompton is a very old station with no escalators or lift so you have to be able to manage the stairs. Double rooms are so small they should be singles only; though the lobby looks good the rest of the hotel is one step above a hostel; the breakfasts are the same every day with no healthy choices; some desk staff were pleasant but others had no interest in providing any kind of customer service.

The Reception Everything else; the lift small and dark, the rooms are extremely dated, paint chipping off most walls, tv reception poor and with no remote, the room did not have a fresh smell. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Unless you are a street ‘person’ looking for a please to clean-up. I was very disappointed.

The best thing about Hotel Lily is it's location. It is literally 2 minutes to the tube or Easy Bus. The hotel is in modest shape at best, and the street-side rooms are very noisey.

I have stayed at this hotel over the years but this time the price had gone up some 73% over 4 yrs(- 18% a yr is too much. The room was only of single size inwhich there was a double bed, and very little room ti walk round. The bathroon door did not close, no hand towels, and the TV was rubbish. I will write directly to this hotel with my observations .They had the cheek to charge £5 to put our small bag in a cupboard to await our return.Breakfast good but served warm.

It's location. I found the reception staff unfriendly. The room was extremely small. The bathroom was old and needed maintenance. The staff on breakfast duty in the morning were verging on robotic.
