Everything in the Hotel looks very tired and worn particularly all soft furnishings, bedding, towels and curtains. No hair dryer was provided. Only two mis-matched tea cups were provided in a room for 4 people. Only 2 individual cartons of milk were provided and these were not replenished in our 2 night stay. I had to request extra toilet roll as only half a roll left in the bathroom for 3 people. Insufficient bedding provided - we all woke up feeling cold in June! Breakfast - very mean. No refils for coffee/ tea. Continental breakfast consisted of two slices of cheap sliced bread and seedless, poor quality jam - other residents made complaints about the poor quality breakfast saying it was more like staying in a Salvation Army Hostel than a Hotel in London. The Full English was 2 slices of bacon, a sausage, baked beans and 1 fried egg. It was adequate. On a safety perspective - our 4th floor room was unsuitable for small children as there was no safety catch on the window and a child could easily climb out, particularly as one of the beds was positioned under the window. The staff were miserable; they treated guests like they were a nuisance.

Not a great deal to like about the hotel, very dated and in desperate need of refurbishment, we arrived at 1.30 pm and were told our rooms were not ready so we had to wait half an hour til check in time, after travelling from South Wales we were a bit tired. Rooms were very small not enough pillows although if we asked for some extra we may have got some, towels were very poor, restaurant and staff was ok could have done with more choice for breakfast eg cereal, staff over all were very pleasant.

There is only one thing I liked and that was the fact I could check out and leave. This hotel is a "Contractor" hotel. It was awful. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, no teaspoons in any of the rooms, no remote controls (a deposit at reception is required). No hairdryers in the rooms and only 3 available in the hotel - which led me to not being able to wash my hair on the morning of the exhibition! One iron available, and you cannot take it to your room for "health and safety reasons" - not sure how other hotels get round this????!! You have to bring your clothes down from your room, collect the iron from reception and then go down to the basement to use the iron board which has been set up in the corridor. The Manageress was a rude, argumentative and intolerable woman and I felt sorry for the poor guy working on reception as he seemed to know what a hole this place really was. The room was freezing all night and I slept in my clothes with a towel on the bed as I didn't want to actually touch the bedding. Not a good place to be at all!

My room was comfortable, warm, clean and quiet. It was basic - there's no hair dryer and you need to take your own toiletries - but for the price I don't see a problem with that. Breakfast was quickly served and the staff were very welcoming and efficient. Ideal for a stop over in London.

Location was fantastic. 50 yards from the West Brompton station and a similar distance to Earls Court and the Ibis Conference Hotel. Bathroom was genuinely the smallest I had ever seen, and the general decor was beyond tired!

The location is great, there is a tube station just 5 min. Away, cheap restaurants, supermarkets...great area. Toilets are clean. The breakfast is just fine, you don't feel hungry afterwards. If you don't feel fancy, and just want to go to London for a quick trip, is a reasonable choice. Well, the small double room is just that.SMALL.There was space only for the bed and nothing else, I suppose the bed was there before the hotel. The furniture is quite old, and was full of dust. The tv worth 5 €, but at least I got a remote.

Totally waist of money. I was forced to stay as the cancellation policy did not allow me to leave the hotel with no charge. I was told by staff that the hotel is going to renovated completely. Very poor poor hotel. I am surprise that you do not put this information on the website and give the guest to have choice.

As we were going to Earls Court, it was very close so that ws great. Reception was nice, but the entire hotel looked so run down. Or twi room at the front, had bare wires comng from the headboard, and you couldntclose the bathroom door, as it was badly fitted. The noise of the traffic was dreadful, and I thought the windows were open, but they were closed. Thought the bedcover had seen bettter days and needed a really good wash, infact just binned! Not the sort of place you would stay at again. Spend some money and clean up!

Lovely staff, especially in the dining room...breakfast was nice and dining room was comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable - I would have appreciated more coffee, milk etc but it was adequate. A very reasonable price for horel in London and so close to the station - couldn't have been better situated for Earls Court. Would stay again and recommend

Close to Earls Court Exhibition centre. Breakfast was beautifully cooked. We were given a basement flat which was a 6 bedroom dormitory with an old TV without a remote control, only one double socket. The one window was overlooked by the main road. Breakfast was a cooked breakfast only, with orange squash, no cereals or croissants. We knew that the hotel had a traveller rating of 5.6 but we did expect a purpose built bedroom.
