The location was perfect. There is a bus stop across the road. You can take the bus to the museum and Oxford street from right there at the corner. And the train station is not very far. It was great!!!!
You can't expect perfection from a budget hotel.
The staff were friendly and accomodsting. The restaurant for breakfast was comfortable the service was prompt and staff efficient.
If thete was one fault where my room was situated was near main road so traffic often interfered with tv reception.
The Receptionist was very polite.
Radiator was stuck on high and couldn't be turned off, and the room was on a main road therefore with the window open to allow the room to cool down, the noise of traffic was loud. The main issue was the dangerously high temperature of the room.
Fantastic location and really helpful staff
The staff at the reception desk was very helpful in getting me into a better room immediately, since the first room was horrible.
The first room I was in was extremely dirty and stank of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was the worst I've ever seen in a hotel this expensive! On day 3 the WIFI didn't let me log in anymore, saying I had exceeded the amount of tickets I was allowed to use...whatever that means. The breakfast was awful and the breakfast room stank like a rotten basement. Only ate there once and went out to eat somewhere else the following days.
I liked that the staff were welcoming & chatty & willing to help.
The breakfast wasn't that good but ok, hotel rooms a bit tatty specially bathroom but i would visit again.
Car park, clean, no frills
The bedding appeared clean and the shower was powerful.
When I walked upstairs to my room there was a big pile of pillows just dumped on the floor just at the top of the stairs. There was also a discarded chicken drumstick along with crumbs scattered outside of bedroom door. Although the shower was powerful there were hairs in the bath and the carpet was frayed. Overall a very tired room which could do with some care and attention.
Location- Very good.
Noises from pipes in the walls, causing noises sounding like people were making love in the room next door. Kept us awake most nights!!!!
Location and cooked breakfast
Small bedroom,in need of major re-decorating. Very noisy, could do with new double glazing,as dont think windows have been replaced in years.. also central heating did not come on when values turned...
Pay later! Actually it was not pay later although pay later was about 15 $ more expensive!
staff really nice and helpful, breakfast basic but well cooked and service was good
the state of the tiles and the room smelt as if someone had been smoking in it
Poor shower and towels
I had food poisoning from the breakfast.
convenient location for tube and buses
asked for quiet room it was noisy with squeaky door in corridor just outside plus Noisy cars and no plug in sink.
Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
I liked being in London but a little outside the city. The hotel was warm and comfortable.
Warm & comfortable, great location for travelling around London.
Quick check it out in
Location was good access to transport good Cleanness very good
No advice given on what was available. No bin in bedroom
Price was good
Double bed in a room which a single bed should have been in, very cramped!!!
Shower very bad, lime scale remover would help...
The fact that the manager would not refund my payment for a room that I never even spent an hour in, due to no fault of my own.
