bathroom was really small.
Friendly staff Good value for money Warm Clean Breakfast included
Good position and prices, wifi for free
The worse breakfast and staff of ever. If you love to smell of fried and to be offenced by waitress in the morning this is will be be your place!
Well located. Breakfast ok. Staff friendly.
Single room very small (6m²), but if you use it just for sleeping, it is ok.
Location and price excellent.
Very close to Kings cross train station.Quick & easy booking in & out no hassel will go there again.
quiet location with small hotels, and at the same time close to Euston rd / Pancras / Euston station, to University College (I visited), and also (important if you are with a car) to the border of congestion charging area - the hotel is within this area, but accross Euston rd you have plenty of car parking options (I have chosen Euston station, about 10 mins easy walk with all my luggage has been easy) - among more expensive ones, but felt safer than open air private options arround); staff seemed a bit reserved, but when asked for help, really helpful and kind; very basic rooms, hotel building has seen better days... but it is clean; wifi worked well (but needed to reconnect several times); I like urban walks - so about an hour to Piccadily has not been a trouble; the price not low for what you get, but at this location it is a gem! so yes, would stay again :)
being aware of the location / price relation, and basic level of the hotel, no surprises or trouble; hotel has no lift - but that was no trouble for me
Clean, comfortable, close to Kings Cross/St Pancras, full English breakfast included, and you can leave your bags before check in time. I stayed mid week in a room at the front which was very quiet.
Great location Good English breakfast Nice staff Possibility to leave the luggage at the hotel.
Location and value
Shared bathroom and toilets.
The room was cosy and breakfast was good. I have stayed here a number of times over the years and I notice that rooms have been updated and that was very good to see. Staff friendly and attentive
We spent 8 days in the hotel. WiFi, location, and confort are pros.
Just to mention, breakfast could have other options because taste repetitive after few days.
disappointed to find there was no hot water; tried to shower both on the evening and following morning, however, on both occasions the water was very cold
Staff friendly Only 100 metres from Kings X Clean Breakfast nice and very quick service.
Small room but ideal for short stay
Good value, great location
My little room faced Argyle Square which was quiet. Though small, the room was comfortable and bathroom was well designed.
The breakfast room is tiny and so full that you have to share your the small table with others. The breakfast was not very nice and was swimming in watery baked beans.
Location is great: in zone 1 with 6 metro lines in King's Cross you can get anywhere in London without transfers; breakfast was simple and not great quality, but at least there is a breakfast (most places in London don't include it); quite cheap compared to other places in London; good attention from staff; nice wifi; was pretty clean, even on shared facilities (toilet and showers).
No elevator to reach the third floor; old furniture; small room; few shared toilets and showers; not many options for breakfast.
location excellent for our training venue and transport breakfast very good quiet location no noise from road good power shower clean room
initially ignored in breakfast room by staff had to ask for tea/coffee etc hard bed noise from room above and next door
Excellent location for the Eurostar Street is quiet Room was in basement so it was very quiet
Breakfast was ok but Worst scrambled eggs I have had in a long time
Carpet: stinking like almost everywhere else.
Cheap price and location near St Pancras
Small room for breakfast we had to wait for a free table and have to share it with someone else English breakfast not as good as in other hotels near there
cheap and cheerful ...no frills but no problems. Amazing value for the prime location just across road from Kings Cross station.
breakfast was a bit miserly but still adaquate - and they have to keep the costs down somehow
I like the fact it is near the train station, perfect for one night or too. Wifi is working. i would go back for the price.
room not very confortable, small hard bed close to window. very noice from the road outside (as if there were no window). I arrived 5minutes late for breakfast on sunday (9h35) and could only get a toast :(
Great location. Very friendly front desk staff who make you feel welcome. Left early in the morning so unable to comment about breakfast.
The room is too small for 4 people & luggages
location, location, staff were friendly, rooms v.clean as were shower and toilet facilities For value for money it could not be beaten, the breakfast was fine, and a bonus as we did not have a lot of time in the morning
no lift, which was ok for me, but the stairs are steep and winding, three floors of these would cause a problem for some people The beds were very clean, but hard, fine for one or two nights
