Room. TV. Facilities. Price.
Slow WiFi (no surprise).
Price. Car park.
Staff does not listen. Even if you complaint there is no "we are sorry, what can we do?". Aged rooms. Too soft and coilish matress. Nude lighted room. Carpet cleanliness could be better. Maid played the "no-soap game today" the day after. Impersonal. Unpleasant staff. Breakfast next to entrance feels coldy and uncomfortable. Wifi free but temperamental.
The breakfast was cold. The bed creamed every time you moved
Reception staff on 28th & 29th Nov were very pleasant and helpful. Food was good, not a lot of choice but tasted very good. Rooms are a decent size and cost is reasonable. Would most likely use again.
Room 159 struggled to get hot water, a member of staff came to resolve in the evening but by the next morning we had the same drama. Travel cot was very lumpy and a bit uncomfortable for our baby. We had problems staying connected to the wifi. Carpets were fairly dirty. But other than the hot water these are all niggles.
The room was very comfortable & clean. Plenty of room, nice sized bathroom. The food was excellent not a wide range to choose from but very well cooked. Breakfast plenty to choose from.
Only downside to the place they ran out of a lot of the drinks from the bar.but not the end of the world.
Good value for money
Had problems with shower
Good location convenient to A42, 20 mins to NEC. Pleasant, efficient check-in. Clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. Good wi-fi throughtout hotel.
Parts of the hotel look a little tired and dated and the ground floor restaurant layout is a bit bizarre. However, to be fair, these points didn't detract from our stay, particularly considering the very cheap rate.
Food excellent Location was good
The bed was too bouncy - it was uncomfortable for two people. The room was cold - the heating only seemed to come on when the cardkey was in situ. The restaurant layout was weird - when other visitors arrived (especially coach tours) the restaurant was very uncomfortable as the cold air gushed in through the automatic doors.
Clean Efficient bookable
Very very poor wifi A higher price for breakfast if you pay on the day.
Location excellent staff friendly
Room Very Good, Clean and Comfortable. Myself and My Wife had a Great Nights Sleep. The Food was Very Good & Well Presented.Evening Meal & Breakfast were V.Good. Hotel locatated in an Easy to Explore Area.Great Points of Interest. Intending to visit again in the near future.
Restaurant Location a little Unusual being in the Main Entrance/Exit to the Hotel, But in No Way did this ditract away from the stay.
Aged room decoration, aged bath/toilet, staff hardly hears guest' requests/comments. If I new of a better place in that location I would rather book elsewhere.
Excellent base to attend NEC
Tea and coffee at breakfast was not sent fresh to your table. But the cooked breakfast itself was excellent!
standard on a par with travel lodge, rather soulless !
Restaurant like eating in a corridor . On the other hand limited menu was cooked well. Breakfast rather bland
checkin cleanliness checkout
Food and service in restaurant superb. Very friendly staff. Room had everything required
I think the person who stayed in the room before me must have been a smoker. Very slight odour was left but not enough to trouble me though
Room was very cold
Location. Staff. value.
Room safe at floor level. I had to lie on the floor to read the instructions which were in Spanish!!.
Price, staff pleasant and helpful
Wifi was always dropping out and was s l o w..... A bit stuck in the middle of nowhere..
Great parking, helpful staff. Room A1. we decided to have an evening meal.waiting staff great.good nights sleep. If I had to score this hotel on a sliding scale it would be 6/10
Only thing that let hotel down was The evening meal.its had a bland taste to it.mash potatoes had large lumps in it and the meat had little taste.did complain was told "oh sorry" that's all.would have been better if we were asked why?
The open-plan layout of the reception/bar/restaurant was unusual and in my opinion not best suited for a social gathering like we had.
Fast check in, clean rooms, free parking. McDonald's across the road. For what we paid was good.
No signal on your mobile at all. Wifi cut in and out. Shower temperature was temperamental. But was warm enough to shower. Cold taps were warm so had to leave running for a while to get cold. If bathroom door was open would set off the fire alarm.
Great service, good room and fab price
Friendly, spacious and good value for money
Wifi- v poor , bar is pretty soulless .
