room a bit small, extractor in bathroom didn't work, noisy traffic cos it was on a main road location
The room was tiny and the bathroom door didn't close properly! The whole place could do with a bit of a makeover/clean.
Good location near underground and bus stops Clean , helpful staff
Bed not very comfortable
Loved the 2-9 desk gal. Very nice and has a beautiful smile when she greets you as you come in each day. Great location to the underground, Earls Court.
Our bed was not very comfortable and the quality of the mattress could be improved.
Staff we're rude , hotel was dirty , can't find anything good to say about this hotel !!
Location is great
Night staff not very friendly
The room was very basic and small. Nice staff and clean so did the job. . Good location and grand entrance , disappointing beyond reception though .
Hair in the bathroom on the floor, inoperable hairdryer, and had to walk over a vacuum to get to our room. Chairs in dining room are incredibly worn. I believe there is still a bar if soap with lint in it above the mirror and I know I did not put it there. Beds are well used. Heavy use of fabric cleaner and carpet powder. Breakfast was minimal but okay.
Location was nice
Just slow on the service
Friendly staff and location - quiet district near the city centre.
Old building, tiny rooms.
The best thing for me about HotelOliver was that they allowed us to keep our luggage in the lounge after check out. We were able to return later in the day after visiting museums to use the internet and plan the next part of our trip. The staff was very kind in printing out tickets for our bus to Dover.
Because of a mishap with our lodging on our arrival to London, we needed to make alternative plans. Hotel Oliver was available, but was way out of our budget. We felt that it was too expensive, but had no other options.
far too expensive for the quality of the room. staff were rubbish bathroom door only just wide enough to enter
Good location close to Earls Crt tube station.
Breakfast was odd, no traditional english breakfast items such as bacon, sausage etc.
Value for money
Breakfast was the same every day and over cooked
Quiet Family run hotel Open 24 hours
Room was very small Didn't like leaving key at reception Pay deposit on TV
Some staff are not so friendly. The fan makes a loud voice. Needs some renovation
Bed too small, Too noisy!!
Nothing I'm afraid. Very very poor hotel. Would never stay again.
Quite a walk from nearest Tube station Double room was absolutely tiny and very poorly fitted out. Very stuffy and claustrophobic. Breakfast time was chaotic. Restaurant staff did not speak English. I would avoid this hotel at all costs - I would recommend paying a little more and staying elsewhere.
no tea in room
Tiny room, not causy at all, lousy breakfast
The location is good and the people who worked there were nice enough.
Asked for the shower drain to be looked at and nothing was done about it. The bed was uncomfortable, breakfast was very poor!!! No tea/ coffee facilities in the room. We asked if we could leave our bags to pickup later on check out day. They said it was fine. When we returned our bags were still in the main lobby where we left them, for anyone to pick up!!
Location was it's only good quality although staff was friendly.
I had a tiny room in the basement, had to keep windows open all the time for fresh air and even with that it was so dark I had to keep the lights on all the time. It was right beside the hotel garden and people sat there talking loudly and smoking (which came right in my windows) till 2am. Tried to call desk to complain but no answer
Everything was just what we needed fo family short break. We would re-book again in near future. See you soon.
Nothing to do with the hotel just car parking bit expensive.
odd but nutritious continental breakfast cant really complain
We had a very quiet room at the back which was cool as well. The staff at breakfast were very efficient and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location - close to wonderful eating places, subway and transit and within walking distance to Hyde Park, etc. Big screen TV in the sitting room.
Breakfast was limited but OK. - boiled eggs, ham and cheese slices with toast. Juice, yogurt and an apple were also available. Our room was small but comfortable. TV was tiny but good reception and variety of stations.
