Hotel Oliver

Bra läge, lätt att ta sig in till Centrala London både med buss och tunnelbana. Frukosten var helt OK, med det hade varit smartare med buffé så man slapp sitta och vänta på att bli serverad.

Om man som gäster står och väntar med allt sitt bagage vid hissen så ska inte hotellpersonalen åka ner i hissen med en strykbräda och lämna en gäst kvar - då har man ingen känsla för service!!!

Bra frukost. Charmigt hotel.

En morgon tog det mycket lång tid att få frukost. Andra mornar gick det snabbt. Heltäckningsmattorna är äckliga.

Staff were very polite and friendly. The room was small but comfortable. Booked a single but was given a double at same cost.

I was given a room with two double bed instead of a quad room which I requested for. The room is in a new wing of the Hotel and look pretty new and clean. The showers facilities was also good. Breakfast was included but its the same throughout the four days, no variation.

Sound proofing between rooms is not very good. heater only operate from 7.30pm to 9.30am.

One member of staff on the desk upon arrival was nice and helpful. Location to tube/bus and restaurants in the area were good. The room was clean.

The rest of the staff were unfriendly. Our double room was on the fourth floor and tiny. So much so that the bed was pushed up against the wall and you had to climb over each other to get in and out. It was more like a single room with a double bed squeezed in.

The room was clean and well presented, the staff friendly. Very close to the tube station.

When I first arrived, the guy I dealt with at reception was lovely. The room was basic, but clean and sufficient for my needs - a simple room. Location was great.

My TV would not work on the second day, I asked one staff member about this, was told that the answer would be to 'get a remote' (remotes are a 20pd deposit, which I do not understand either - 1. why such a high deposit? 2. Who steals remotes?). He didnt seem to understand when I informed him that a TV can work without a remote and it had in fact worked the night before. On returning to the hotel and getting a remote, the TV still would not work and the rude girl at reception informed me I should have told someone through the day! Was not happy with this. Also not happy with my things in my room being moved, I understand that staff do clean the rooms, but have never had my things moved from one location to another before for this to be done

Free tea and coffe (instant) available 24h. Good location, fast access to undeground. Free wifi available, breakfast was ok

Very small room (single). Watching tv impossible as was placed so high on the wall that you have to stand in front of it to see something (cheap lcd TV-s can't be watched under the angle)

My room was warm and clean. I had everything I needed for one night and breakfast was pretty good. I would come again if needed it.

The room was incredible small. My mate's room was cold.

receptionist unfriendly and unhelpful. rooms (3 singles) were tiny and not properly cleaned. breakfast was awful

Stayed in the newly furbished block. Rooms and beds are not the biggest around but it was adequate and tidy. Breakfast was simple but satisfactory. It is a pity only the tv lounge has wifi. Overall I would recommend it to a friend and would stay there again if I had the chance.

location was good, there is a 24-hours-bus stop almost in front of the hotel. the room was clean enough but extremely small.

the staff were not very friendly. they charge 20 pounds deposit for remote control to watch TV. no shampoo. breakfast was everyday the same and relatively poor. the room was extremely small but at least clean.
