“ The price was excellent - great value for money and the location was spot on. Very close to Earls Court station and lots of restaurants and pubs. The room was en-suite and had a digital television which is also great considering the price. ”

Cheap and cheerful hotel that's in a great location. The staff are friendly and the rooms (although a little careworn) are fine for a short stay.

I have to say other than the proximity to Earls court I have nothing positive to say about my experience at the Hotel Olympia. Where to start? Unfortunately this is the single worse hotel experience I have ever had. Even taking in to account the budget nature of the hotel the general state of the room was appalling. Plug sockets not working and partially hanging off the walls made you question to the safety of the place. Mold and water marks all over the top of the walls. The bed had not even been made! The floor looked like it had not been cleaned too. The room I was in the furniture (by that I mean the wardrobe and draws) almost fell apart and were covered in dust. No air conditioning and and the curtain rail was broken so there was no way to block out the light. Not that this was a issue as the window was so tiny. Pillows... take your own. The door to the room was so insecure I would not recommend leaving anything in your room if you leave to go out. General state of the establishment was similar to the room, mouse traps in the foyer, tired and battered decor and general grime. Fire doors propped open with fire extinguishers really didn't help with the overall feeling of safety and comfort. I stayed 3 nights and I hardly slept due to the lack of dark due to the afore mentioned window issue and the and the state of the place. I ended up in a McDonalds to charge my phone/laptop as when I did get the courage up use the socket it sparked! We will certainly be going back to Travel Lodges for all future business trips. A pity considering how convenient it is for Earls Court but without significant improvement in every area I would strongly recommend you avoid.

The location is good. And it's good value for a small amount of money. We stayed in a double room. And it's really really small.

Very Noisy (room at street level, cars passing all night al very close distance). Almost impossible to get a full night sleep. Very cold - at the end of March, even though outside was snowing and the temperatures were close to 0 C, there was absolutely no heating. We went to sleep in our street clothes.

The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent. Within a short walk of Earls Court and there were lots of restaurants, cafes etc. nearby. Would definitely recommend this if you are after a budget friendly hotel.

The doors are so loud and the walls so thin that you can basically hear everything what your neighbours do. Take earplugs with you!

The power of the shower. 1) The staff asked if I am British when I clearly have an English accent. 2) There was a hole in the room wall. 3) The bathroom mirror was cracked. 4) The room was far too hot when I entered and so uncomfortable to be in, especially without any air conditioning. 5) The towels were too small to be used as body towels. 6) The television did not work, so good job I had plans to meet friends in the evening.

There is no good comments sorry. Humidity is crazy in the room. The room was never clean. Paint falling off the wall and ceiling. The double room is as small as a single. There is no space to keep the bags and anything. Not even walk.

Originally attracted by the price, but we went went with trepidation after seeing photos on other travel sites. After confirming on the phone 3 times including the afternoon of our arrival, we turned up late evening at the hotel with 5 teenagers, to be told that both our rooms were not available as they had put others in our rooms. So we asked for our money back and were told we had to fill out a form and claim it! We had nowhere to stay, so father 20 mins we were sent to The Cromwell Crown on Cromwell Road. This hotel is under renovation, but the bedrooms were fantastic and the hotel reception staff were great. In the morning we walked through the downstairs building site, to 5 mins up the road to Natural History Museum. Definitely stay away from the Hotel Olympia

-Very friendly and solicitous receptionists. I had the flight early in the morning, so they came to my place at 6 A.M. and woke me up -well- equipped room. Staff provided the room with tea set, including tea bags, coffee, milk, and sugar and electric kettle to make hot water. -Room is well-furnished. It's enough space to allocate all the belongings if you stay for say two weeks. -Extremely good location. 5 min to Earls Court by foot. -Lit bit noisy when the window is open, but it depends on your sensibility and the alternative costs. I think it's this hotel and particularly the room I have stated at (303) - is the best balance of price and quality you can find in late January.
