The hotel is conveniently located just about 10 minutes walk from the Hammersmith tube, and the area and the premises look fairly safe. There are a lot of small shops and cafes nearby. The stuff is polite and helpful. In addition to continental breakfast they also offer English breakfast option, - something you will rarely find in most of London budget hotels.
The location, the cleanliness , the attitude
The staff (a family) The location : 10 minutes walk from Hammersmith station, which is a nice place Free breakfast quite alright Rooms are clean
WIFI !!! very poor wifi (hard to connect in the rooms) Breakfast ends at 9.00 (too early) Rooms very small (but includes toilets + shower)
close to subway, breakfast, pleasant staff, daily cleaning
wifi connection was not stable
Clean and friendly. Decent Cooked breakfast but 2 rashers of Bacon or 2 Sausages would have been welcome. And mushrooms! Handily placed halfway between Shepherd's Bush and Hammersmith tubes - 7 minutes walk either way All local facilities within minutes, Cashpoint, Corner Shops, Pubs, Takeaways etc
WiFi almost non existant. Very hard to connect and dropped signal every few minutes. Tried 3 different devices with same results.
All the workers talk Polish , they don't understand English, feel your self in warsaw a
1. The wifi was slow and disconnected often 2. The rooms were TINY and you had to haul your suitcases up steep and narrow staircases. The staff never offers to help. 3. The shower rooms were small and the water heat was inconsistent. 4. It was loud at night 5. They are stingy for breakfast. Limited selection + low quantity. Worst in all the B&B I've been to 6. Expensive for such a terrible hotel 7. Old and lumpy mattresses. The quality of sleep was terrible
Location and helpful staff
It was clean with fresh towels everyday. The breakfast was very good
The bedroom walls had holes in them & the fireplace shelf was hanging off. The decor needed updating
3 night stay: Owner and his staff were hardworking, honest, and successfully made every effort to provide a good service. Prior request for a quiet room was largely met. Room + en-suite: very clean. Shower: easy to operate and provided plenty of water at a good temperature. Wastebin emptied and clean towels provided each day. Full English Breakfast (included in price) consisted of a small glass of orange juice and plenty of toast and tea or coffee and freshly cooked (in a small kitchen area next to the tables), fried egg, sausage, bacon and beans and twice and one fairly large mushroom - (fried breakfast tasted great).
Tables, in breakfast room, were perhaps a little close together. Bedroom and en-suite were slightly compact. Plug missing from basin. Some noise from kitchen heard through wall.
Room nr 8 is on the garden side and is very quiet. Staff very friendly and good fresh breakfast. We will return to this hotel. Walking distance from Hammersmith ( 8 min).
Fast & smooth Wi-fi; The owner is helpful in that he allowed us to deposit luggage before check-in and after check-out (for few hours) and lend us the iron and iron-board
Only the basic is provided; Triple-room (which holds 1 double-bed and 1 single-bed) is too small for 3 persons; in particular, the double-bed is barely enough for 2 persons to sleep on; The room is facing west and is therefore quite hot even in late evening; Owner seems very thrifty - he provided us with yogurts that had been expired. When we sought replacement, he was reluctant and said they were beyond the expiry date for only 1 day; Breakfast is mediocre - the bacon appears stale
Breakfast. Clean. Fresh towels everyday.
Worn down room. Familyroom should be 23 sq.m., but was less than 16 sq.m. No air conditioning, no fan. Very noisy street with policestation, firestation etc. just down the street. Very noisy between floors. (Thought, we had a ground of elephants living above us).
Everything This hotel is ghastly; I cannot understand why it has such a score Shabby little room, nowhere to store clothes, had to buy my own shampoo. NO AIR CONDITIONING! Uncomfortable mattress that needs replacing. Could not sleep!!!
Close proximity to hammersmith underground, friendly and helpful owner
The size of our room was very small, our bed was a very small double size and we couldn't get a good nights sleep. The toilet was also very small with the basin poking out in front of the toilet. Shower size was good but opened straight out into the bedroom.
owner very friendly and helpful. location good beds and towels very clean
room far too small for comfort no fridge in very hot weather poor choice for breakfast
Polite owner and staff ,
-The staff was very friendly. -Wifi was good. -Room was clean and was cleaned every day. -Breakfast was good. -Close to Hammersmith (connection bus and metro) -Close to a big shopping mall
-The bathroom was really tiny. -Sirens of police/ambulances.
Staff are kind, very experienced and friendly; Big room for family to stay together; There is always a good amount of hot water for taking a shower; Very convenient location (Tesco, Chinese take-away shop, tube station, bus stop, Westfield shopping centre, park for small children, pub, nice restaurants); Towel-changing every day; Several choices for breakfast; Quiet room
Only we wish that the fridge in the room worked better. The foods went bad easily. However it was nice to have it in a room, at least. Maybe because our room was in basement, it was a bit humid. Wet clothes did not get dry, which was a bit annoying.
very friendly staff
WiFi was troublesome one night, toilet broke (but was quickly fixed the next day)
My room was too small and the cost was too high for a B&B
Reasonably priced for London. Short walking distance to Hammersmith Tube. Would stay there again.
Other residents constantly ringing the desk bell for assistance was annoying.
Staff, breakfast, wifi
Room very basic, neighbourhood
Great location- easy walking distance to Hammersmith. Lots of buses if you have luggage. Lovely classic Victorian small hotel. Professional and friendly staff. Wifi was the easy to connect compared with a lot of other places. Breakfast fab- muesli, bran flakes for the healthy and classic bacon and eggs for the English treat! Clean and spotless. Comfy bed with snug duvet. Will stay again.
