Very well located with very friendly and courtious owners who were only to pleased to give you any help and directions that you may need. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Peppers to other visitors to the Torbay Area.

Very much enjoyed my stay. Quiet and comfortable, good price, Owners very accommodating. Free Wifi access meant I could keep up with emails etc. Generally a real good base for exploring, only 20 mins walk to Kents Caverns, and fantastic breakfasts. Many thanks, would certainly use again if in area.

Excellent hotel. Proprietors where friendly and helpful. Location was perfect if you want to be near the harbour, literally a minutes walk. However, it was far enough away from the bars and restaurants to not be bothered by noise. This hotel is spotlessly clean - even the shared sitting room is immaculate. Our bathroom was so clean it almost looked unused! Had a relaxing nights sleep in a comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. We are both vegetarian but this was no problem for the owners. We could only stay for 1 night but we will be going back, hopefully on a sunny day so we can enjoy the decked sitting area - it looked very inviting! On-site car parking is limited but to be expected in the location which is so close to the harbour / shops.

We really liked everything. Our hosts Viv and Gary were friendly, welcoming and could not do enough for us. The room was perfect, locations was great and we could not fault anything. We cannot recommend this small hotel highly enough

I booked my Father in Hotel Peppers last year and on his recommendation I stayed for 1 night for business, it was a pleasure, friendly owners, comfortable surroundings, ideal location, I would most definitely recommend this hotel.

Viv and Gary made Us All feel Very Welcome .The rooms were spotless , Everything We needed was there . Hotel was warm and welcoming . In ideal location , Shopping , Beach or Vistting and Exploring the Devon Coastline . Breakfast was lovely - All fresh and with plenty of choice . Already thinking of returning . Would highly recommend .

Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Bus stop opposite and taxi rank a couple of hundred yards away. All in all a good location.

We took our parents as a surprise birthday present. We received a warm welcome - a pot of tea and biscuits on arrival that made it for dad. Rooms were clean and spacious. Good selection at breakfast time. Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

The couple that ran Hotel Peppers were firendly, helpful and accommodating when I needed to operate outside their normal times. Breakfasts were excellent. It was a very pleasant stay. There was occasional noise from the street outside late at night. This was my fault because I did not shut both windows.

Viv and Gary were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was beautifully clean and comfortable. The bed was the best hotel bed that we've ever slept in. Breakfast was a wide choice to suit everyone and the 'Full English' was really nicely presented and tasted just as good as it looked!

Friendliness of staff. Cleanliness. Very nice cooked brakfast with real coffee. Noisy Friday and Saturday nights. Breakfast finished at 9.15 a bit early for us.

The hotel was very well located for the town, sea-side and good eating places. It was spotlessly clean and the staff are great. The car park was a short walk away but free, safe and secure. A great place to stay in Torquay. We will be returning, with friends this time.
