Very helpfull staff. Friendly atmosphere. Everywhere seemed to be clean. Good shower in room!! No mildew in bathroom.... Having to enter the hotel through the smell of smoke from the smokers standing outside the main entrance. Not very welcoming!! |

The hotel was conveniently positioned for the shopping trips to Leeds City. Approximately 20mins drive away. It is located adjacent to two country parks with walks etc. |

We asked for a quiet room and our room faced out onto bare fields. The most noise came from the birds singing in the trees every morning. I did not like the fact that one day there was a wedding in the hotel and we found it difficult if not almost impossible to sit at the bar to have a quiet drink in the evening before retiring. There should be a separate bar for functions such as this |

Convenient location for my needs. Easy parking. Helpful staff. Quick service for bar meals. Quick breakfast service. Decor a little dated. Room lighting a bit dim for working. |

My stay was a very short one and the hotel was chosen randomly from hotels in or near Wakefield as I had stayed near there as a young boy.Time prevented retracing any old steps but we were satisfied with our choice. |

The help and friendliness of all staff plus the location could not be faulted, food and accomodation were excellent but most of all the staff would talk to you which you do not get from many places today. |

The food was excellent whether in the resurant or the bar. The hotel was in a very nice location. Only thing we stayed over the bank holiday. On the Saturday the bar and lounge area were so crowded with the wedding party we cancelled our resturant booking and had to go out.Sunday the childeren from wedding party were out of control and even jumping onto coffee tables in the lounge area. The staff did try to calm them down but to no avail. This was the only blight on our stay. |

Very good, however I didnt like the idea that at 5 minutes to 11 I had to pay for drinks on the room, and not allowed to pay cash, ridiculous and will make me look for other places to stay. But other wise the hotel was superb Very good, however I didnt like the idea that at 5 minutes to 11 I had to pay for drinks on the room, and not allowed to pay cash, ridiculous and will make me look for other places to stay. as part of a wedding party coming from london we needed somewhere to change as our rooms would not be ready until 2p.m.this was not an option, but considering the wedding reception was going to be in your hotel i think this should have been availible to us. we were fortunate that some family had travelled the evening before so we had to go to their rooms to change which was a bit of a nightmare. |
