Sunny Brae - Nairn Our host Ian was great. upon arrival he informed us it was the quite time and he had subsequently upgraded us. The room was delightfully furnished, spotlessly clean and the most magnificent view from the room out to the bay. Ian drew maps for us and informed us where to shop for the items my wife was looking for. That was a negative as she spent a fortune! The bed was brilliant, the shower great, clean and modern.

I only stayed at this hotel overnight and for breakfast for one night. My room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable with plenty of thoughtful extras. The ensuite was very good too. The evening meal was SUPERB..possibly the best meal I have ever eaten in Scotland. The welcome from the owners of the Hotel together with the kind, helpful care (with bringing my bags in from the car etc) was excellent. The only slight complaint I have is that I was unable to go to sleep, due to disturbance from the noise ( people walking about, flushing the loo etc) until quite late, after midnight, in the room above me. I think if I was to stay there again I would ask for a room on the top floor. Otherwise I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. The disturbance from the room above mine.. Unable to sleep due to intrusive footsteps and loo flushing etc until after midnight.

Everything was like a perfect setting!! Breath taking location with a beach view. Just a small public garden in between the hotel and the beach. The room was comfy with excellent set up and was swanky clean. This was the best hotel during our vacation in which we stayed at 6 different hotels in as many locations. The staff was extremely well mannered and helpful in every way possible. I will return any day to this hotel if we are in Nairn. It is a 10/10 from our side. It was a touch expensive. However, must say worth every penny we spent.

went for a wedding, stayed 9 nights over Easter and Royal wedding, walked, some golf, enjoyed the countryside etc, weather was great, relaxed, at a slow pace. Bedroom had great view over the Firth. Couldn't have asked for more --- as we rarely do hotel breaks. As fairly active but slower OAP's it was perfect.

Very friendly and welcoming. Rooms finished to good standard, lots of little details in rooms to make our very pleasurable. Had dinner on our nights stay, slightly expensive but very good quality plus there was a lovely selection of malt whisky. Breakfast choice was excellent. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody.

The owners were so welcoming and the service was wonderful. The hotel is beautifully appointed and our room and bathroom were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The sea view is beautiful. We ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay: the food was wonderful and the service in the restaurant could not have been better. The two single duvets on a double bed were a bit odd and not very comfortable ( this was a room which could have been made up as a double or a twin, but the beds were made up as a double) and the quality of the duvet covers was not what I would expect in a hotel of this calibre. This is a very minor complaint though as everything else was excellent.

Sunny Brae hotel is a lovely family run hotel very close to a sandy beach. The family were very open and friendly offering a good service to us during our stay. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot and cold food to choose from. Out superior sea view double room was clean and spacious with plenty of storage space and an en suite shower room with heated floor and large shower enclosure.
