The warmth and friendliness of the staff, the generousness of the breakfasts and the exceptionally pleasant outlook from the balcony of our room (looking over the River Bure).

I enjoyed the view from the balcony overlooking the river Bure. The pillow cases were not clean but had been turned inside out. The shower hose leaked. Sadly the hotel is dated.

On first impression (arriving at the car park) I must be honest and say that its a little under-welming,eternally the hotel looks somewhat tired.however there were staff to greet us at reception were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome, inside as outside is tired, however our room was clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable, huge bathroom again very clean, the real plus of this hotel is its location to the river, the bar and restaurant allow you to sit riverside in a very friendly and clean area,a definate plus.we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which was excellent value and also had lunch which served very generous helpings at a good standard, overall the hotel is great value for money, the staff were excellent. The hotel is as it states a 2 star, but staff and location are an easy 3.

The location of this Hotel was excellent. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the water, we could see the boats going passed and the swans and geese taking flight. The room was very nice , breakfast was good and a carvery meal was available most days.

Although we had very serious problems with the quality of your v ening meals the head waiter, who's name I think was David and your assistant manager were wonderful and made our stay with you wonderful and because of this we would visit again. The bed was very comfortable and your refurbished rooms looked first class. My husband and I both ordered lasagne for our evening meal. The meal was very well presented, but the lasagne had not been heated up. I quietly had a word with the head waiter who was very apologetic and it was re-ordered. The second meal arrived and my husbands lasagne was 'warm' but mine was still 'stone cold'. I quietly called the head waiter over again and he was extreemly apologetic and offered our money back etc., but I decieded that I would have the lamb chops and mashed potato. When the lamb chops arrived it was obvious that the mashed potatoes had been in the air for a long time. They were very lumpy and a pale orange in colour. I attempted to eat some as I was very hungry, but I then realised that the potatoes must have formed a 'skin' at some stage of their storage during the day and instead of the top skin being peeled back to serve a portion of in to the plate it had just been 'chopped' up! The head waiter was quietly called over again and he was very apologetic and concerned and immediately brought over all the money that we had paid for our meal. By this time it was now late in the evening and for one and a half hours I had been trying to get something to eat in your hotel and eventually went to bed hungry. I did at this stage say to him that it seemed obvious that there was no chef present and that the mashed potatoes had obviously been cooked early in the day and just left out in the air with no proper cover on them for them to be in that state. As a housewife, when I cook mashed potatoes for the basis of a meal later, I then cover them when cold and store in the fridge. I have never seen them in that state and I do not think that the health inspectors would disagree with me when I say that they were not fit for human consumption. I look forward to hearing from you in due course regarding this matter.

The staff were all friendly and very helpful and the location was perfect. In certain areas the decoration in the hotel and accomodation was tired. Areas of carpeting were threadbare and the bathroom was very much in need of attention. I am familiar with the area so knew how to find the hotel however it is not well signposted

First of all I must comment on the welcome we received on arrival from Jennifer who displayed excellent customer services skills. She was very professional but warm, friendly and informative about the hotel and whole area. She told us how she enjoyed coming to work in this beautiful area and how much she enjoyed her job. A good Ambassador for your company! We had the Bridge Suite (think Suite was wrong description) which overlooked the Broads. The view was absolutely beautiful with a balcony to sit out on. The bed was really clean & very comfortable! Although the room was above the bar/lounge it was very peaceful, both at night and during the day. Breakfast was yummy! Hotel was dated and in need of refurbishment E.G. bedroom, en-suite but in particular the stair carpet and general downstairs areas. We think the restaurant could be updated to complement its position as it is the only hotel on this stretch of the Broads. The food could be improved to have a more varied menu. Nothing advertised on the menu board invited us to eat here. With only a Thai Restaurant, an Indian Restaurant and another hotel in the vicinity (which served a good variety of food including a carvery) we feel we would have run out of options if we had stayed any more than 3 nights.

Venue was lovely, I have a great photo of a Heron on the roof with the sun setting behind it. Comfortable bed. Decent size tv. Good breakfast. Rooms are shabby and could do with a facelift. Shower was very poor and again shabby.

It was all a very nice stay for £60 until at 0830 in the morning all the building work started in the next door room and inthe roof. There was no indication that this would happen in the booking. I'll called up reception and they gave me £20 refund and were apologised about it. It was a good stay for £60 apart from the noise in the morning.

Lovely location, friendly and caring staff, value for money, convenient and free car parking Building / rooms need some TLC, restaurant needs to offer a better dining experience, staff were undertaking more than one role which frequently caused a detriment to the service received, not disabled friendly.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and quiet. The choice of menu was extensive and varied so there was something to suit all tastes. The quality of the food was also good and it was well presented. The location was very picturesque being on the water. Lots to watch, birds, boats the bridge.

It's a great location and the is plenty of choice around in the village to eat at. Food is ok at hotel and beer is very good! Hotel Wroxham needs internet access! The hotel is OK but if some money was spent on it updating the dated decoration it could be fantastic.

The bed was very comfortable and clean staff were great ,, the breakfast however was awful , I had a mass of body hair in mine , I spoke to the waitress who said she would mention it to reception n kitchen staff, all we could hear was giggling comments about it which made my husband and myself feel very uncomfotable .
