Location. Standard of boat - also linens, bedding etc. Very clean.

Suggest more plates, cutlery etc but then we did decide to be completely self-catering which most people probably don't (just didn't want to leave the lovely boat!)

Unique accommodation. The boat was nicely presented. The quayside was picturesque.

The bathroom facilities were understandably cramped but this was more difficult to contend with as the area did not feel very clean and fresh. Unfortunately this extended to the crockery cooker and fridge.

Fantastic stay!!! Much better than staying in a hotel. Such a great idea and lovely owners who are so friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised when we first walked onto the boat how spacious it felt. There was nothing better than to switch off from our busy hectic life's whilst listening to music with a glass of wine, on a boat in the middle of Sheffield. Crazy but brilliant! We really look forward to returning in the near future.

-The bed was a little bit on the small side. -Poor postcode to the boats, ended up the other side of the canal.

Mel and Mark are super friendly owners, the boats beautifully designed, the area great, the carp in the marina massive and the general vibe super chilled. We will return!!!!!

I had a bit too much fun.

Like others, we stayed here because it is different to the usual city centre hotels. Located very near Sheffield's city centre, on an old Victorian canal wharf, which is part of a British waterways canal basin, it is an ideal spot. We stayed two days and nights in lovely sunny weather. There is a small cafe alongside for lovely bacon butties to bring on deck for breakfast. Also the back entrance to the Hilton Hotel with its spa, Costa Cafe, bar and restaurant is located here. Perfectly handy for your houseboat. We arrived by train and its only a ten minute walk from the station. The owner. Mel Perry, is extremely helpful. A very slight hiccup on the first night was immediately resolved the next day. Highly recommended and we hope to be back.

A lovely alternative to a hotel room .The houseboat was really well equipped ,maintained and comfortable it was easily accessible and good instructions from the owner for entry to the quay and boat. there was a café/ bar close by offering good reasonably priced food .We walked up into town which only took 10 minutes and made use of the hotel pool and sauna for only £5.We will certainly recommend this to friends and will visit again but hopefully for longer.

Stayed for 2 nights, was very comfortable. Made a great change from staying in a hotel. Everything you need is there, plenty of space to relax. Very close to city centre, but also quiet and tranquil at the same time. Would stay again .

    Was nothing to dislike.

Loved everything, just fancied a night away without having to travel far, 10 mins from our house, and a part of Sheffield we had never visited, we could have been anywhere.

My only tiny criticism is if your offering self catering please expect people to cook, 99% of what we needed was provided but at least one sharp knife is essential...and maybe a colander. Other than that very vert small point it was great!

Unique; very accommodating owners; quiet; parking free & right in front of houseboat

Difficult access to houseboat mainly due to one way road system; small microwave would be nice

the quaintness of the location , unique opportunity to sleep on a boat

overpriced for november , would think £60 max would have been a more acceptable price.
