Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. The blinds in the windows of our room were a little dirty and loose fitting so the light still showed through.

The shower was too powerful and would have liked a full length mirror in the room but otherwise it was a good stay.

The hotel is convenient for Basingstoke Shopping and the large m & s store at Camberley. Having stayed a few times before, it is satisfying that the service we get is still first class and the staff are as good as ever with nothing to much trouble. And no car parking charges as at some other Barcelo hotels The changing room for the leisure/swimming pool could be a few degrees warmer.

We only stayed the one evening so I guess I would have to say the food. The price per glass of the house wines, left a sour taste in the mouth, the price not the wine.

Staff did its best to make my stay comfortable The hotel is defintely not worth the price: more than gbp 100 for a very run down hotel, in the middle of nowhere!

Friendly staff, nice location and a superb breakfast The restaurant menu is not extensive, as such I would expect everything to be cooked perfectly, minor grumble over cooked stake and cold pre cooked chips lowered my enjoyment of dinner.

Nice warm pool although a bit dated. Couldn't get into the room as key card wasn't working, sent back again by reception but still wasn't working so they finally changed our room. (upgraded). Had problems getting in this room later too.

The convenient location was ideal for purpose and the jolly chap on reception was very helpful and honest. Unfortunately, having stayed at the Barcelo Ship Hotel in Brighton our expectations were high which left us disappointed. the bathroom taps and shower did not work properly and the bathroom cleanliness was poor with vomit on the wall.

It has potential Not 4. Star, tired and the gym facility was filthy. The room air conditioner sounded like a car engine running in your small room.

The staff were extremely pleasant and polite. Breakfast was excellent. The swimming pool was very grubby, mould could be seen on the mats which you walked on. The changing rooms had a nasty smell.
