Fantastic view over the Thames across to the London Eye. External appearance of hotel was rather ugly but not alot they can do about that. Staff on reception not great - very slow on check in (seemed to have a problem finding our pre-booked room). On check out we were asked if everything was ok so we commented on the very noisy room air conditioning which was very slow to shut down (about half an hour - a long time in the middle of the night) but the receptionist was completely disinterested and made no response. The impression was she didn't care. |

The cot, toy and toiletry pack for our baby was fantastic it was the best hotel we have stayed in from that point of view The Virgin Health Club refused entry for us taking our son (11 months old) swimming which it did not advise of neither did the hotel staff and this was a main reason for booking the hotel so that my husband could take him swimming whilst I was working on the Monday so very dissapointed with that aspect. |

We visited London and went on the London Eye. The TV did not work. The staff made me feel like we were beneath their normal clientele!! It took ages to get just a few cartons of milk!! |

The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The bar was classically elegant, with a very wide range of malt whiskies. It has distinct areas for relaxing, lounging by the bar and an al fresco section. My only grie came on the morning I left and, having gone for a walk, I returned to find that my room key no longer worked and it was only 0930! The early disabling of my room key during the time I left the hotel for an early morning walk. |

Easy and well thought out reception, great location perfect for our needs. Lovely comfortable rooms I think the food was disappointing. Over priced and distinctly average |

The staff were very friendly, accomodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, there always seemed to be plenty of staff on duty, and they obviously took a pride in what they do. The Central London location was perfect, with one view over the River Thames from Tower Bridge to the Houses of Parliament. |

The service, the restraunt, the location, the room itself, the bar, the food at the restraunt was amazing! The view of the river and city was fantastic! It is too expensive for us to come back, but we really enjoyed our splurge! |

espresso machine the tv was a bit dated for a luxury hotel and it was easy to hear noise from hallways and other floors. |

We had a room with a river view which had a wonderful view of The Thames, Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge - not many hotels could have this. The staff were really friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk to The Strand and Covent Garden - great location. We stayed on a Room Only basis, so didn't use the restaurant, bar or any other facilities. I would recommend this hotel. |

There was a fantastic scenic view over the river Thames, which was the highlight of the room and worth the extra expense. The socket to plug in the iron was poorly placed. |

Very close to Tube station Temple, great view of river Thames and London (Eye, Big Ben, House of Parliament etc...). Impeccable staff. Internet wi-fi non complimentary, when each familiy restaurant (even at the corner) offers one. |

Location of the hotel was excellent as were the concierge facilities. The staff was very surly, and borderline rude at points. This hotel did not meet my expectations for a 5 star property as it did not contain the level of service or the amenities typically found in a 5 star property. |
