“We were very impressed by the hotel, for the price we paid we expected a bed and not much else, but this hotel is perfect. We stayed for one night, the room was smaller than the usual hotel room but it had a bed, shower/bath and toilet, a TV, a wardrobe.”

5 minutes walk from ST Pancras station good base to start your tour of London, friendly staff, 24 hour reception desk, nice pleasant hotel with breakfast included. What more could you ask for and reasonably priced. No kettle in the room so bring your own if you want a drink, cafe is 2 minutes walk.

Pros: Good English breakfast; comfy bed; quiet area; warm; good value. Cons: Shower only dribbled - had to move about to get wet; Spartan furnishing; door lock dodgy; no phone contact with Reception; no lift (and on 3rd floor); handbasin smaller than a p-pot.

Good location. Basis english breakfast but it was seved to the table (not as a buffet) so that was nice. I red the reviews from here before I wen't to thel but it still managed to dissapoint me. Room was horribly small and I didn't like the fact that the sink was in the room and not in the bathroom. And the glass door between the room and bathroom offers so privacy. The most negative thing in the hotel were the sounds coming from the corridor and the room above us; when ever anyone moved there the floor squiked terrible. The sounds kept us awake, until everyone else (people staying in the room above us)went to bed aswell.... And it is not nice to be dead tired and not being able to sleep properly... After two sleepless nights we decided to change hotels.

Good location for Eurostar. Some staff just about friendly enough. Double room tiny. 'En suite' seemed to mean that the toilet/shower was part of the bedroom with only a glass semi-partition separating. Ie no privacy, no separation from smell! No shower curtain and no separation between shower and toilet so floor wet if you then wanted to use toilet. No tea/coffee facilities in room. No power point in room other than shaver. No choice at breakfast. When I asked, I was offered another room (twin not double) which was damp and smelt. £80 overpriced in the extreme.

The room was clean an comfortable and the British breakfast really is amazing!! The room was very small though... The staff was only "Ok" welcoming not much more... The breakfast's time range (from 7 to 9) may not be wide enough for holidays or break weekends stays; it's OK for city trips, though.

Handy location for Eurostar at St Pancras International. Very small room, narrow stairs, no lift. At least I had light overnight carry bag. Almost impossible with larger heavy suitycase. Not cheap.

It was very close to London Kings Cross Station - very convenient for our employee. The reception was open during the night, which was useful for our employee as he was working until 2.00 am and could still get in. Comments from our employee: there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room; there wasn't a shower curtain in the bathroom; the breakfast was less than adequate; decorating had just started when he arrived - this wasn't mentioned at the time of booking; there were no facilities available during our employee's stay, as the room used was full - he only had a small rucksack! He felt the service he received was not good value for money - £80 per night wasn't the cheapest hotel we found either.

very friendly staff. Sink in room and not in shower room, which just appeared a bit strange to me. Room walls were very thin, and a bit noisy, but otherwise a good hotel.

Reasonable price & good location/proximity to the Business design Centre in Islington where we were exhibiting at the Stationery Show. Rooms a bit spartan, no chair in room, can only sit on the bed, difficult if you're trying to use a computer/do paperwork.

Good location for Kings Cross station. Cheap, value for money hotel. It is was it is. A cheap hotel in a fantastic location. It looked like the best hotel in the street. I got offered an English breakfast. On stating that I am a vegetarian who also doesn't eat eggs I was offered no more than toast and the lady serving just looked straight through me. Other people in the dining area were eating cereal which we didn't even get offered. It was English breakfast, toast or nothing.

Really good value, no frills and no fuss accomodation. Great location, comfy bed - that was all we needed really. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but overall not too bad at all.

The reception staff were very obliging and very friendly, the breakfast staff were a little reserved but polite, the location for us was great just 2 minutes to Kings Cross, the bedrooms were on the small side but clean and the beds were comfortable and warm, I would recommend this hotel for its location to my friends and I would use it again Tea and coffee facilities would have been very appreciated, some rooms did have a kettle though so I would take a few tea bags next time
