The location was perfect, full English breakfast included, room/en-suite basic but beds comfortable and clean.
No lift. Room on top floor which for a mature couple with heavy suitcases was difficult - no help offered and once there couldn't make a cup of tea as this facility was not provided which was a shame.
No bedside lights or tables. Only light in room had to be switched off at door.
The location is great, very convenient for exploring central London.
Bathroom small and uncomfortable, needing renovation.
The location, the staff, the breakfast and the room was okay for the price in London. They did a nice job with modern renovations. I would stay here again.
It's not a case of didn't like.... more a case of awareness. This is a budget minded venue. The twin beds and room are similar to college dorms. They are small. There are no closets per say but a place to hang a couple of items and cubbies for extras. Only one outlet in the room.... for the TV - or - PC. The showers need a better cleaning to keep them in shape.
Location very close to Kings Cross. Breakfast nice. Staff accommodated our request of room change as we had loads of luggage and initially put on 3rd or 4th floor with no elevator.
Earplugs helped as it was a bit loud. Bed small.
Good value for money, close to Underground and mainline stations so convenient as well for getting around London
Breakfast room needs more space and tables. Sink in the bedroom was very slow draining away
The location was excellent being near Kings Cross. The cooked breakfast was a great way to start the day.
People leaving were very noisy in the stairwell. The en suite bathroom was small and not very private.
Good location Very clean Friendly staff
Very small room
The location: 150m from King's Cross Station, Mcdonald's and Starbucks just across the street Staff was really kind and helpful The breakfast was a surprise , you can choose from a english breakfast or toasts , juice, coffe and lot's of nutella! Every morning the room was clean , beds where made and they left new towels.
The room is small, but we always arrived at the hotel tired so we slept OK You can ear doors closing and sometimes people talking at night from other rooms
Friendly proprietors and staff, good value for money
Location was convenient, and room was clean
They need a larger breakfast room and more choice. Also, they did not supply fresh tea or toast to joining diners. the floors need to be pinned to the joists as the creaking floorboards were extremely loud! I was kept awake by late retirers! and why keep the front door locked in the daytime?
Location, nice breakfast
Hallway was smelling not to nice but room was fine
Location is fantastic near tube station but still quiet opposite a park. Staff is friendly and there are many breakfast options. Although the room was a see a tufted carpet, the room was not stuffy air and also the room was well cleaned.
No airconditioner, Very cramp room
We loved it , great location , very friendly all you need for a hotel stay
Unbeatable location just a few minutes from Kings Cross station, in a quiet leafy square. Spotlessly clean room and ensuite bathroom. Great value for money, ideal for a short stay.
A kettle in the room would have made it perfect. Older people and/or those with mobility issues might want to take into account that there are a lot of stairs to climb and no lift.
closeness to st.pancras
no lights near beds. no plug for basin, no switch for main light near beds, so little space
The location The staff
The stairs - if you have suitcases it's very difficult The size of the room Stayed on the bottom floor which was like a dungeon and the window didn't even open was very hot and stuffy
Everythng about the hotel was excellent , really cant understand the other reviews. We had a great weekend and this was made possible by staying at this hotel as well as the other things we did in london . very highly recommend this hotel and we will be returning in the new year.
nothing we have no complaints whatsoever.
The lady owner & the young guy at the reception was really nice & helpful :)
The room & bathroom was little too small & quite uncomfortable for the litttle big guy. The cleanliness in the room & elsewhere is fair.
The bed was very comfy, the room clean and smelling nice. The staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Less than 5 min walk from Kings Cross metro and railway station.
The bathroom was a bit mouldy but otherwise clean.
Ideal location for catching the Eurostar
The hotel was a very short distance from Kings Cross Station and St. Pancras Station. A McDonalds was between hotel and stations. Europcar office 10 minute walk. Good English breakfast.
My single bedroom was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. However the man on desk duty brought my suitcase down with no problem.
it was near to kings cross and stpanras
Location and breakfast.
Rooms are rather cramped, but only to be expected for the price in Central London!
