Beautifully decorated, very cosy. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Very well situated for walking to shopping area and prom. The beds were really comfortable with wonderfully soft bedding. We would certainly go again and would recommend it to our friends.

En suite shoe-horned in but adequate.

convenient situation for walking & to bus-stops. The unusual decor . The comfort of my room & up to date shower-room.

I would have liked more choice at breakfast ,perhaps porridge & stewed fruit in addition to cereals.

Accommodation was of a high standard, staff couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was lovely and there was a nice choice.

Road noise due to location on a main road was a problem for one of our guests who was in a front facing rooms due to the need to have the window open due to the hot weather.

My second stay at Howarth House. Had a single room this time at the front and found it a bit small but bed very comfortable and room nicely furnished. The shower was also good - much much better than the miserable dribble and mouldy grout usually found in many small hotels. The breakfasts are superb!!

Good lounge down stairs Good breakfast and pleasant service.

The room my wife & I had was small and very warm, being a humid night. We were not keen on decor. No room for a chair each to sit on.

position of hotel. helpfulness of staff.

The shower in both of our rooms was extremely temperamental. Could not get it to go hot had to have ice cold shower,so did my sister in her room.

The balcony could have been very nice if a little bit of effort had been put into some pots of flowers to take you attention away from the fact that the view was of the back of the neighbouring hotel.

The mattress was too firm - they could do with memory foam toppers. The pillows were also quite hard as were the seats in both the dining room and the bedroom.

Place is very clean, staff and owner very friendly and efficient. Wi-Fi has improved from previous reviews as I had no problem. I think they must have added extra routers.

The food was excellent especially the fruit platter at breakfast. It was very convenient for our beach hut day and our tram trip to Fleetwood. It was spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful and obliging. They very kindly refroze my picnic bag freeze blocks on several occasions.

The parking was cramped and we had to reverse into a busy road. The beds in our twin room were very low and my health problems made it difficult for me to get out of bed, also space in the en suite was very limited for manoeuvring and there was no lift to the upper floors. The décor was a bit OTT for my taste.
