Everything. Great location, terrific room, quiet, comfortable, nice sized shower bath, and an excellent continental style breakfast with an informative, friendly and helpful host.

Loved the atmosphere, staff and location of this B&B, tucked just under Dover Castle. Historic in its own right, it was a warm and friendly base to explore Dover by foot. Our particular room was the smallest, (as we had been advised), but everything was there and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely healthy breakfast too. Would also recommend the little bistro right next to the yacht marina for a meal!

A traditional well-maintained guesthouse in an attractive, convenient location, whether you are visiting Dover and or the surrounding area or staying over at the start of a visit to the UK. An excellent breakfast; ease of parking; comfortable room. Friendly pub next door which shares the guest-houses interest in, and support for, cross-channel swimmers. Very good value.

Hubert House is a place where we took pleaser to stay. Very near from Dover's casttle, everybody cared about us. The family room was beautiful and perfect for a 2 children family with luggage. We could park our car on a private parking as often as we wished.

maybe the flow of the shower a little bit low but nothing important

Ambience good, proximity to town and port facilities good. Green tea bag in room (amazing). Care taken with details was refreshing and welcome. Car parking .

Carrying heavy bags up narrow, steep, stairs not good. Coffee not good filter or plunger would be an improvement.

The breakfast was amazing. Really good bread and muesli. Quality.

Excellent location ,convenient parking,really comfortable room and en suite. Helpful and friendly staff and interesting historic house. Different and pleasing experience.

Steep staircase would be difficult for less able guests. We usually stay at Ashford business park prior to channel crossing and this is more user friendly ( though character less ) than Dover town centre in early season. Dover worth visiting but not early season when it's dead and drab.

The position of Hubert House is excellent on the road leading to Dover Castle and 5 mins from ferry terminals. The house is spotlessly clean and our room was very comfortable and practical for 2 adults and 2 small children.

It's a shame they don't do evening meals anymore as it would have meant no walking around Dover looking for something to eat - there is no a lot of choice on a damp Wednesday in April!

Beautiful Georgian house. Well appointed 4 poster suite with Juliet balcony and our own Teddy, excellent condition, plenty of wardrobe/ cupboard space, extra bedclothes, large well equipped bathroom, plenty of hot water / heating. Healthy breakfast included delightful selection of Danish pastries. Hotel is focus of cross channel swimmers who have left their signatures on the wall of the nearby pub. Peter the owner of the hotel is knowledgeable on the history of Hubert House and offered us plenty of advice on where to eat/drink locally.

The staff were friendly. Spacious rooms that were both clean and comfortable.Breakfast provided even though we left at 5.30am. Near to castle and ferry port.

tidy decor, clean rooms, good bathroom, friendly service, good breakfast, handy on site parking.

stairs are fairly steep, not a problem for me but maybe not suitable for those who are not that good on their feet.

A spotlessly clean hotel in a good location, convenient for Dover Castle and importantly the ferry terminal. Pet friendly, free wi-fi and a superb breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner.
