Very homely hotel. I loved it's quirkiness!! Very friendly staff, fabulous central location and extremely clean. Staff also very friendly! Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family! N/A

The room was nice, good that breakfast was included, decent location Initially I found having to wait twenty minutes to be shown to my roon frustrating. Also the room was at the top of the house four floors up and there was no lift which makes it difficult when carrying luggage. There was also a disappointing end to our stay whcih I found tainted our trip as well. One of the owners - the one who makes the breakfast was extrememly rude to us on our departure. We were meant to check out at 11 and were a little late and arrived down to check out at 11.15. I apologised startight away for this delay and was met with a very abrupt response. After checking out i asked if we could leave our bags for the day as we were told on arrival that this was possible. and was met with the response 'No i don't think I am going to do that today' there was clearly other bags in the breakfast room so I pushed and said we were told this was allowed. In response I was told that If i couldn't 'respect' other people's boundaries then I have to deal with the consequences. After leaving my boyfriend returned to check the room and told the propriter how rude he though he was to me and said that now we have to carry our bags around until 7. He was much more polite to my partner which makes me feel there was some prejudice against women there. I felt that even after being polite I was treated very rudely and there was no professionalism. I recommend that perhaps he stays in more hotels so he can learn about what real professionalism requires. WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR STAY HERE AGAIN!

Excellent quality all round - attractive and clean decor, friendly staff, wonderful breakfasts. A great little hotel! Nothing - it was all excellent ... shame it's in Brighton though, which is like Doncaster with a beach!

The owner / manager & the waitress were both very friendly. When I booked it, I thought it was a hotel not a guest house, although we did have The Hudson Suite, however I thought it was over priced for a last minute booking

Hudson Hotel ligt 3 minuten lopen van het strand, dicht bij de Brighton pier.Veel winkels en restaurants in de nabijheid. Met name de lanes zijn een leuke winkelervaring. Verder veel cultuur en festival activiteiten. De stad bruist van de jeugd ( diverse universiteiten). Alles is beloopbaar vanuit dit hotel. Er zijn parkeervouchers te koop voor 6 pond per 24 uur via de hotelbaas. Parkeren kon in ons geval gewoon voor de deur.

Een aanrader! We kregen bij aankomst ongevraagd een update naar een kamer met hemelbed. De kamer is heel smaakvol ingericht en schoon. De eigenaar gaf ons uitleg over de leukste restaurantjes en buurten. De ligging is zeer gunstig want de straat is heel rustig maar aan het eind van de straat is de zee met boulevard en om de hoek zijn restaurants en café's. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed.

I liked the individual service of the hotel. As the are only about 10 ten rooms, all was very personal and friendly. The decoration of our rooms was lovely, too.
