I thought that the two men who manned reception were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and as someone new to London their friendliness and conversation made a big difference to my stay.
I found the lady on the booking line by contrast, slightly brusque. Also extending my stay was difficult as their office was only open during the day.
Fantastic location, tidy, safe and very nice breakfast
The bedroom is individual. Free wi-fi internet connection at the reception. Clean bathroom.
The lady at the reception was very unfrendly and so was the staff who served breakfast at the kitchen.
Being close to Euston and the places I wanted to be.
The shower on my floor didn't work. I reported it but during my stay it wasn't fixed
convenient and good value
delicious breakfast, friendly staff, good place for traveller for London
It was easy to book, well-located and gave me a secure base with all the necessary facilities, for exploring London.
The breakfast servers were a bit surly. It'd be nice to have a mug supplied in the room so that I could make a cup of tea before bedtime.
The position is very central, five mins from Russel Square and from S. Pancras station. The staff was friendly. The breakfast is rich, good and with a lot of choice. The room is quite comfortable and a lovely welcome set of soap/complimentary slippers is provided.
lack of some facilities: no hair dryer (not even if you ask the receptionist); no mugs or glasses next to the cattle (!); the shared toilets/bathrooms/showers are not very clean.
Clean, comfortable and perfect for purpose of my stay. Breakfast was outstanding. Also, very very good view as room was on a high floor. Could have stayed the week and will return. Staff were great too.
Well excellent Location close to two Stations. Euston and by a nice park very good budget student living area and you can chat to people at breakfast. night security great guy..
Well they are 1970's halls but clean the carpets bed not that great and showers not that clean also breakfast quite late at 8.30 and heating on too much towels not changed or bin cleaned but it is student living.
good location，friendly staff，clear room
the price is little higher
Very good location, rather peacefull. The room was rather ascetic, but the bed was good and you must not queue the dusch or toilet... The breakfast was versatile and generous (though not very delicious )
Many of the breakfast "items" were so packed; that produce very much litter... It is not very eco-friendly
Good value for money, locaton 2 min walk to euston. Breakfast was excellent and did not have any ques with shared bathroom in the morning.
1. I liked the room. The floor is carpeted, the desk is large, so I could work and have enough space for the laptop, papers, camera, and all the wires. 2. There is a drying room with ironing facilities for free. And there is shower room with three cabins (but I met other people only two times there during six days of stay), but there is one private shower on each floor. 3. There is a kitchen with an oven, sink, fridge, and a kettle. 4. I liked the breakfast. The selection is large, the tables are enough.
1. The bed is a bit uncomfortable meaning that you can feel the surface is slightly unequal. 2. The water is terrible (as almost everywhere in London). So, drink only bottled water. 3. There are no fresh vegetables for brekfast
Good value for money, great breakfast
Bathroom facilities were very poor
Perfect place for single person. Location was perfect too. Nice breakfast. Very Good Price in London for a single room. Staff was nice.
You have to share toilets but it is still much better than the other hostel I was last time in London.
Brilliant location in Bloomsbury, bargain price, liked design of building, bathtubs available not just showers, friendly staff, desk open 24/7 with no fuss, comfortable bed, desk was useful, very good breakfast.
Strange disposable flip-flops left in room gave off an unpleasant smell, bathrooms were a bit old and shabby (though I very much appreciated having a bath), hot tap in sink didn't work.
Simple but all you need. Nice service, fixed a broken socket asap. Good that the pantry had a fridge. The location is great, close to British museum and more and nice area to walk in. Wifi in the lounge and breakfast room.
No wifi in the room, that is the only thing on my wish list. Not too important though. (Although there is internet connection if you have a laptop, but I only had my phone with me)
the warm and happy receptionist.
there s no wifi in the room
I arrived late (10.00pm) and left early (6.30am) and only met one staff member, the man on the reception desk (the same one both times, poor chap!) but he was wonderful - both capable and friendly, he made me feel "at home" at once.
I don't like your ludicrous terms and conditions, over a simple recommendation, but I still want to praise the man on the desk, and Hughes Parry Hall, so I will still continue. . "Would you recommend London?" is as stupid a question as I have ever come across. London is there, that 's all. And how could "winter sports" describe London? Be reasonable.
Clean and tidy rooms and a nice breakfast
very close to St. Pancras, Kings Cross, Euston; very friendly personell
Friendly staff Breakfast Location
Towels are not changed regularly
Clean simple room, good breakfast
