The location is beautiful. I was there as part of a wedding party and the whole evening was excellent.

The rooms in the main hotel building are maybe a little dated. The new build rooms are very nice with a great view.

Very Quiet, Close to Buttermere, Keswick, and Cockermouth for walking & eating out. The Shower was a dream after walking on the fells and there was lots of spacious parking. A perfect location.

Very clean room and although small - comfortable bed

Very noisy on both nights due to people exiting the bar. Will not be back to stay although staff did apologise for the disturbance

    Food, location

Hotel used as a wedding venue with music thumping till midnight. Not ideal if like me you had young children who couldn't sleep because of it. Wish they'd informed me there was a wedding on, as I would have booked elsewhere.

The room was very comfortable with a magnificent view and balcony

l would of preferred more advice as regards activities for tourists to explore. Possibly an easier to adjust thermostat.

The location. Beautiful surroundings and views! My room was lovely! Spacious, clean, big bathroom! The hotel staff made my dog very welcome too which is very important to me! My dog says .... Woof, woof, woof woof woof!!

    Could not find any faults!!

    Location & impression, nice gardens.

Room itself OK, but Room location quite poor. It's somewhat a luck dip i think - the right room location would make a big difference. No real facilities at the hotel. Not value for money, with breakfast charged at an additional £9/person - even for children - we went out actually and found a great place.

The views were fantastic, the staff incredibly helpful, rooms clean luxurious and spacious. And I loved the fire surround in the dining room!

It was quite difficult to find. My satnav deposited me in a lane about a mile away. Lol
