Dogs slept in car at night room overlooked car park Beds comfy and spotless bedding.plenty of tea and coffee in room Carvery nearby Nice continental breakfast
Smell of cigarettes in room and corridors Shower a bit slow and temperamental hot = cold
Dirty, mouldy walls, wallpaper hanging off, cobwebs and dust everywhere, burnt out plug socket.. absolutely shocking and not fit to be on sale - deeply unpleasant experience, not to mention lacking the basic safety standards.
Friendly staff, very clean. Can't fault it especially for the price.
THERE WAS NOTHING WE DID NOT LIKE
Staff very polite and friendly
Next to a good restaurant
No internet, couldnt get onto it, code didnt work
The closeness of where I had to be (hospital) and the comfort and helpful staff
The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Good value for money!
Room comfortable and staff very pleasant. This was our third visit. breakfast was very adequate and laid out well. Thank you
No radiators on day of our stay but wewere given electric radiator which we appreciated as outside it was freezing.
Comfortable bed. Central heating did not work but the staff had placed a heater in the room prior to my stay. Toasty
Bathroom could have done with an update
Room was comfy and clean. Lady owner was lovely and friendly. Good value.
Fire alarm went off late night but not hotels fault, was the bar next door with smoke machine for special event.
Easy location from the motorway. For a one-night stop is was excellent value for money, the room was comfortable and the continental breakfast more than adequate. We will stay here again.
Nothing to dislike; some of the bathroom fittings had seen better days but the shower was hot and the room clean.
Wonderful staff who could not be more helpful. Such a comfortable bed we wanted to bring it home!
Location easy to find and convenient for our purposes. Bed very comfortable and breakfast more than adequate for our needs.
value for money Friendly family management Quirky friendly bar
smell of cigarettes in bedroom, although I didnt ask to change rooms mildly chaotic but so what
Lady was very polite & welcoming
The room was VERY dated & unattractive, very old orange bathroom suite. Would not stay again.
The room was very comfortable and warm. Continental breakfast was fine. If you want a cheap overnight stay I recommend this. A good pub down the road does good food, cheap.
Needs updating. Bathroom needs overall, but is usable.
no heating on just electric heaters bar and restaurant were not open when we arrived at 9pm had to go to pub down the road which was closing as well 9-30
The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was very warm which was great given the wintery weather. The shower had plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and was the thickess duvet I ever saw. The facilities were what we needed with tea and coffee in the room, a desk and a nice breakfast lounge.
This is a dated motel but this doesn't stop it from being warm and charming. It certainly isn't a posh modern hotel, but if you are not expecting that then you will likely be very satisfied with the overall pleasantness of the stay and the friendly staff.
For an overnight stay it was excellent value. The motel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. Free continental breakfast was a bonus. Would stay at the hotel again.
Clean and comfortable great location for park hall Price is good value for money for a 1 nights stay
Breakfast area is too cold
Managers wife served breakfast in outdoor coat on Central heating not on,had small halogen heater and family. Heater in restaurant which doubled as reception and hallway quite smelly on entering if I had another option I'd have moved on but had just driven almost 500 miles ( having said that it only cost £38' Managers used a room for everything by what I could see through Windows I could see her smoking in room there it looked as I've they cooked and lived out of hotel room quite a Whig when passing and on entering hotel I booked after seeing good review but after living in room I dread to think who left the reviews. I would not recommend this to my enemy's I'm no snob just basic working class but there untidy and there's grubb
Very friendly staff. Very clean and tidy rooms. Breakfast very nice and plentiful. Would Most Certainly Stay Again...Thank You...
Very friendly. Rooms spotless, comfortable and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable. Room quiet. Substantial breakfast. Short walk to Crown Carvery when their own restaurant is closed
