|Fab location for harry potter studios, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice meal in the bar and good breakfast
Only grumble was that we were in room 60 in the converted barn, this particular room looks over the front of the hotel and during our stay approx 5am and 7am delivery wagons were outside, i am usually quite a heavy sleeper so they were very loud! disturbing both my son and my nights sleep
Free wi fi
Staff were unwelcoming and uninformative. Hotel pool or its location was not mentioned at check in Evening meal menu was unavailable at 5pm Room was small Breakfast very expensive and hotel adds an extra £5 per head if not booked the night before (why?) Premium added for paying by credit card Room was not worth the money, Better value stays this year at holiday inn express and premier inn No extra pillows, bedding in room. Only 2 pillows in the room.
Most things especially atmosphere in bar and availability of food until late. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Free coffee
No view at all from room (no. 55).
Breakfast wasn't what we expected. The wifi was very poor.
The pictures and the cost made us believe we were staying in a fancy, beautiful hotel! It was far from the reality! The room was small, the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were a joke, the bathroom taps were scratched and damaged and the Windows leaked! Absolutely no character, I thought I walked into a cheap and easy b&b! Not to mention the cleaners banging the Hoover against our door at 7am!
The special valentines meal was perfect, followed up by very helpful and approachable staff
Ordered food at reception for room service and the receptionist asked me to do him a favour and take it to restaurant then changed his mind
Free biscuits and drinks in coffee room. Swimming Pool. Bed very clean and presented.
No hot water for bath. Had to use kettle! Pillows flat. Pipes in room creaked all night.
Breakfast friendly staff
No choice in room, it was too small. The range of food wasnt great. Burgers or hot dogs for room service, hardly fitting food for the looks of the place! The pictures shown of the place are merely what you drive past. Pricey for what was worse than a premier inn.
The location was ideal as we were visiting The Harry Potter Studio Tours, literally a 5 min drive.
The room was basic, very glad we got a discounted price otherwise I would had been very dissapointed.
The late bar snacks
As the truth goes we cant complain too much as the room was clean and tidy , and we had a peaceful night.
The room was more like a closet and as neither of us have the build of twiggy we found that if one of us was moving around the room the other had to be sat down. The "double" bed was the smallest one i have seen in long time . The welcome we got was a greeting from ice age..
Location for Warner Bros Breakfast was good Room Service was quick
Key Card not working, repeated trips to Reception to get it put right Better attention could be paid to the cleaning of the room, tops of wardrobe, pictures, headboard.
This hotel is situated in a ideal place, great access to a train station which take 20 minutes to get into the centre of London. Its a 5 minute drive to the Harry potter studios. upon arrival free coffee was available whilst we waited for our room to be prepared and then we were notified our room was ready for us. The room was great a bit small, but it had all the facilities you would need and the furnishings were nice and felt modern.
Whilst the hotel is in a great place and the staff are nice and the rooms look modern their are a few things which soil the good parts. The view from our room consisted of the car park, which at night became busy and in the early hours of the morning did also. The window in the mornings would leave a puddle of water on the inside of the window ledge on the plus side of this their was that much condensation on the windows you no longer could see the car park. What really did it for us though was the noise levels. The walls must have the thickness of paper. As every cough, sneeze and 'heated session' shall we say we could every part (The female next door gets a higher rating off me then what the hotel does) So after 2 noisy nights (by this time am sure she had quite enough, same as the rest of the guests of the hotel) we decided to go for breakfast which I can only say was about as pleasurable as the noises from next door (hope I have added enough emphasis onto how annoying and loud they were). I would say though the lunch time food was great, maybe it depends on which chef you get at the time or how much food has been left over from the day before. I can only assume not every night is like that, and don't want to put people off but at the same time I wouldn't agree with anyone paying what we did for what we received.
Location was very good staff helpful
Kettle almost impossible to fill pool not open after 6pm in the week that was a shame
Breakfast was very good
Rooms were small
The staff were amazing and the cleanliness of the room was good.
The bar food wasn't great for price and the pool table is "the worst pool table ive ever played in" as quoted by my fiancé so has played a lot of pool in his life. The table was shabby and the cues didn't have tips on them!
Very pretty looking place from the outside. Bathroom was beautiful. Love love love the bed! Very comfortable nights sleep.
The staff at breakfast we're rude. The bedroom was situated above the service area and unfortunately there was noise throughout our stay - even at night. This included staff shouting to one another and throwing items in various bins.
Staff were friendly
Pool facilities closed early, rooms were small, taxi arrived late even though booked which caused me to be late for a meeting
Lovely hotel! Lovely pool! Lovely surroundings and very close to Warner bros studios!/easy train commute into London xx
The hotel resturant was amazing and greatly priced
The resturant being open planned and people partying just walking up and down and hallway loudly
Location was great, room was clean, bed very comfortable. Staff were very helpful.
Corridor to our bedroom was very cold. Fire alarm went off for a short time at 3pm. No one evacuated so we assumed it was a test but no one told us that. Should be a notice in the room telling people this.
Ideal location for harry potter studios
Car park busy and couldn't get parked as was functions on
