Excellent breakfast, the room was clean and comfortable and staff were helpful. The location was perfect for our needs. Lovely bar area and all in all a very pleasant, value-for-money stay. Room could have been a bit bigger. |

The rate on booking.com was very good The hotel pool is tiny as was the room allocated to me, however the rate probably led to that room being allocated to me. |

The bar food was very good as were the staff. The shower was good The room was smelly (stale cigarettes). The bed was lumpy. There was a Jan Xmas party going on so lots of noise & door slamming at 2am plus people throwing up in the room next door. |

The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The bed is against the wall therefore you have to climb over your partner to get out. I'd imagine rather difficult for the elderly. Was not too impressed with layout of the room as t.v was to the side of the bed.Reception staff could smile and be more welcoming. Cup in room was dirty with coffee ring on which was rather off putting. |

Fantastic location, Room nice and very clean, Ample car parking facility, Great value for money, Good access to motorway. yea, when we checked in i asked member of staff if their was a spare flower vase available , as a suprise i had flowers delivered for my partner to the room for her birthday. staff assured me she would look into this and get back to me but couple of hours later still no reply, hence i than had to go back to reception to chase my request and about half hour later member of staff came back with option of water jug or bucket to put the flowers in!!!! whilst i appreciate hotel isn't expected to provide a vase but the quality of hotel which caters for weddings, surely a vase would have been available as their was no wedding reception planned during our stay. Just a small point to take into consideration but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay. |

The location for us was very good as we needed to be near m25 and Watford The staff are all far too young to run a hotel. We had no hot water for a bath one evening I was told by the receptionist to boil a kettle! We had no heating in our bedroom for the whole 2 day duration. Bar staff didn't even know what a port was and couldn't work out simply change. We had to tell them how much change to give us. |
