Refurb disrupted some business discussions
Nice and well equiped gym Friendly staff perfect location, especially for a visit to the impressive library
the beds could be a little bit longer
Location was great. Food was good. Staff were all pleasant. Swimming pool facilities are included in the room rate.
The female changing rooms were a complete mess with robes and towels all over the floor.
The use of the regency club it was definitely worth the upgrade.Rooms spotless and staff very helpful.
Nothing not to like.
The concierge guys were amazing, so friendly and anticipated my needs. Service was well over and above my expectations. Early check in was allowed despite arriving very early in the morning, great check in process.
Location of hotel is a stones throw to all restaurants and facilities one would like at their door.
Leaking shower head and the bath seemed to have a blockage as the water wasn't draining quick enough. This was a minor point and the rest of the facilities were excellent.
The facilities and friendly staff.
The level of noise in the room next door to mine. The whole night was noisy.
Really liked this hotel. I have stayed at a few Hyatts and there is a certain standard the keep across the board. The concierge were great and offered parking solutions which were a nightmare due to the sporting event we were attending. However we were given the option of free parking whilst we waited for our room. Room service was very good and reasonable for the amount of food you get. The create your own salad was delicious and so is the cheesecake. Compliments to the chef. Check in and out was smooth. I highly recommend a high floor room. The views are great. The hotel is in a central location with the canals, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Beds were firm, not a problem just personal preference.
The view was stunning, and a comfortable bed.
There was a plug socket that had come away from the wall, leaving wires visible.
Great position right in the middle of the city.
There were no biscuits in the room with tea and coffee making facilities.
We stayed in this hotel from 7th to the 9th August. The room was lovely- we asked for a high floor which we got. Great views. Hotel ideally placed for the local bars and restaurants.
Nothing negative to say. If I was to be picky it would be that the refurbishment taking place in the foyer would have put us off having breakfast in the hotel due to the noise
Excellent, clean hotel with helpful staff.
It is so smart ,love the deco ,it had everthing you could possibly want in the room , made use of the wonderful spa, just not there long enough!
Hotel Staff Facilities Big bed Food Location
Beds Easy checkin and out High quality
Bit of noise from Broad Street wildlife, but not much
Very comfortable bed Great central location
Wifi was not included in the price of a room. Unacceptable for a hotel of this standard and the price of the room.
location brilliant, staff were lovely and helpful and room was nice aswel as the bar that has been refurbished.
changing rooms for pool were a bit dirty-hair and rubbish/tissues on the floor
The building and the location
The parking - a total and utter shambles!! There was no car park... Was told to park in a public car park down the hill, turn left and further up on the left... And later discovered at check out that it was not even free - had to pay for the parking! It sad to see Premier Inn Hotel next door had their own parking. The weather was wet and the walk up and down to the car park every time totally ruined our holiday break. The whole point of staying and paying for an up market hotel was to have the luxury of having access. The site claims "Private parking is possible at a location nearby" - don't tell you that its a relatively steep climb back up a hill and there is no shelter throughout! Later found out that there is another private car park next door and only charge £6 for 24 hrs! Not impressed! I understand that hotels need to charge for parking... But when its sooo inconvenient in the face of cheaper low cost hotels in the vicinity its a disgrace. Only stay here if you don't mind breaking a sweat and getting wet getting to your car and back.
Loved the location, reception staff excellent, room and cleanliness were spot on, breakfast expensive but very good
wasn't impressed with price of food and amount of time waiting for staff to take food and drink orders
Every thing the room and my view from the windows at night
There is nothing to not like
Nearness to the Rep where my daughters wedding reception was held
Location, refurbished bar area,
Replenishment of tea not generous
no free bottled water
