Cost of breakfast - walked 5 minutes and ate a fantastic English breakfast for 5 quid!
Ambience Check in experience was courteous and ultra professional Location spot on
The only thing I did not like here was that the drinks in the bar were so very expensive. I did not think there was any need for the cheapest glass of wine available (175mls) to be £9. I thought this was way too expensive.
This hotel is beautiful. The staff are polite and courteous and we had a meal in the Italian restaurant which was excellent. The room was also lovely. We stayed in a superior, which when I saw our friends club room, was no different really so I wouldn't advise paying out for the club room unless you're going to get good use out of the club lounge (free beers & soft drinks and nibbles).
Everything about the hotel
-Internet renewal every day -queuing for Breakfast -shower
- location - price - food - very comfortable room - plesant staff
The service in the foyer bar was very poor and whilst we left a discretionary tip as it was included in the bill, it was most definitely not earned. We had to wait half an hour for three drinks and four staff kept asking us what we had ordered. Very poor for a so called 5 star hotel. Also, whilst sitting in the seats by the entrance of the restaurant, at approximately 2.00 pm on Saturday 8th November, one of your male staff reprimanded a young female member of staff, within our earshot, - how unprofessional!!! I felt very sorry for her as she was a very polite young lady. I only wished I had said something to him!
The reception staff were excellent.
No swimming pool
Warm welcoming, comfortable, clos to Oxford street , I liked staying there to much
Richard Turner and other management was very professional and visible. The drinks at Churchill Bar were extraordinary!
The beds in the club room are uncomfortable
Not caring about guest comfort
Everything was great
Celebrated our anniversary, received room upgrade, bottle of wine and a cake. We felt very special guests, if only all hotels could be this way
Floor carpets infront of elevators need to be changed
Entrance live piano
Too expensive for relaxation
Room Service was excellent
House keeping get to be better
Receptionist who checked me in was outstanding and House keeping were professional
Umm.. There is much I need to add so will have them in points. 1) you can hear everything outside the room as if its in your room 2) It looks a little bit old. how long ago was it renovated? really!! 3) the free wifi was really slow and it shows how much they were willing to rip you off by making you buy packages 4) I was on the 7th floor and the bathroom shower was honestly the worst! I had to get into the wall to get the water running over my head and the pressure was low.
I liked the business lounge & the super . .service of housekeeping staff The restaurants and food are an exceptional experience, and never had I a bad meal there.
it takes long time to check in/out
1. old seems like its been a long time since the last renovation 2. There is a scheme with the wifi since the free available one is only 24 hrs and really slow
location, and some friendly staff
Payable additional complimentary water bottle & insufficient information about VAT refund by hotel staff
Location, access, comfort & stable wi-fi connection
Terrible gym. Wifi poor. Its not free
Location. Staff. Restaurant.
I ve sent for freezing my expressed breast milk, however it was not handled properly which 2 of my bottles broke.
Location is superb
Location, helpful staff, complimentary water, free wifi
Some times there is a strong smell of somthing like a sea food in the loby and this smell is slso in the left i think its a food from the kitchin in the lobi
All things is good .. We love it .. I will try it again
I arrived early to the hotel and my room was not available at that time. I was offered an upgrade by paying extra 102£.with this upgrade as explained to me I would have access to the lounge and the breakfast is included from the Resturant in the lobby. When I went to the resturant to have the breakfast, I was told it is not included with my room. When I checked with information desk, they said the breakfast is not included and it could be mistakenly explained to me, and they didn't act properly to fix this mistake.
The location of the hotel. Most of the main places are close and only takes few minutes of walk.
